Here in some cities, supermarkets have started charging IDR 200 per plastic bag since several years ago. The purpose is to discourage costumers to use more and more plastic bags and encourage them to bring their own bags.
In my city, supermarkets are even not allowed to provide plastic bag at all by the Local Government. Make the City Green Program.. We called it. Less soil pollution.. or something like that.
Good news is.. No one has complained.. let alone blaiming on other parties!
Reducing plastic bags use is a good program, don't you think?

Hi Wen.. Some people need to practice what they preach. They preach that they treat others the way they want to be treated. But in practice, they treat others bad but demand to be treated well. They claimed that they treated others with respect but their records showed otherwise..
