Thank you for your kind words, Gigi. But to be honest, I am not that kind nor nice. I didn't give Christie a home. I just gave her a place to sleep, a bowl of kitten food to eat, and water to drink. That's all.

I wanted to do what you said. However, Christie seemed to not like staying in one place. She's an adventurer. She left my house this afternoon I couldn't and will never stop her. I just bought chicken fillets for her though. I will take one piece or two everyday till there is no more fillets left. Who knows I will see her again when otw to and from work. One thing for sure is that she is always welcome to my verandah.

I am a Muslim, so I don't celebrate xmas. But thank you most kindly for the greetings. Hope your xmas with your beloved ones was wonderful, and may you have joy and good health too.

Ok, here is the story..

More than a week ago when I was otw back home from work I saw a little fella. The legs looked strange to me, but because the fella was napping I thought there's nothing wrong with the legs.

A day later, I saw that little fella again at the front of a building not far from my house. It was lifted by a little girl. Then I knew the legs were paralysed. It might have been hit by a motorbike, if not by a car. Poor baby!

With hope I could see that baby again, I bought a bag of kitten food and took a little with me. But I didn't see the kitten when I was otw to the office the next day. Fortunately, I saw the kitten when I was otw back home.


I told my Giant about that poor baby. He asked me about it every time we talked. Sadly, I didn't see the kitten for several days.

Today, it rained in the morning. My verandah would always get dirty after the rain, but I was too lazy to clean it today. I got out only to throw out my garbage in to the outside bin. I tried to look around. Who knows I could see the kitten. But nope, no sign at all.

Until in the afternoon. That tough kitten was in my verandah!
I was like.. OMG! OMG!

What An Adorable Man..

My Giant celebrated Thanksgiving with his big family at his brother's house. Everyone was there, except his two sons. They were on duties, so couldn't make it.

The celebration went well, until something bad happened. His Mom fell off the last step of the stairs. Her right wrist and her ankle got hurt quite badly. She couldn't hold nor walk. Their family doc even suspected a hairline fracture on her rib. She got a ct scan and still waited for the result.

His Mom has stayed at my Giant't house. She is really a tough woman. For several days she used a wheelchair. But she couldn't just sit without practicing and exercising. She used crutches and now although not fully recovered, she can hold and walk again.. Alhamdulillah!

Since the incident, my Giant has worked from home. He is really a good boy. He treated his Mom with so much care. He even would wait not far from the bathroom when his Mom had a shower.

Amazing, eh? What an adorable gentleman my Giant is..

Get fully recovered, Mom!

Hello everyone.

When first time I posted this blog, I highlighted the sentence written in blue (as the main point). Yes, about my relationship with my Giant. But then I was guilty as charged since to a degree I was carried out, which I shouldn't.

Anywho, I really appreciate all the comments. However, except for one commenter, I am not gonna respond to the commenters one by one. I will give one comment for all instead.

You see, I did some readings too with regards to the issue. So after reading all of your comments, I found some comments are in line with my readings, and some are not, eventhough were written "in such a way" as convincingly as possible.

To those who do not take sides, I give all of you my thumbsups.
To those who take sides, well.. you are entitled to your opinion. I respect that, unless ofcourse such taking sides makes you full of hate. With my blessings, you can simply go to hell.

Furthermore, I love the advice some of you gave me. So comprehending all advice, my Giant and I "have signed an agreement":
1. We will not let the media whip up our feeling;
2. We will get the politics out of "our home";
3. We will respect and accept differences of our opinion (No significant impact on the relationship); and
4. We will focus more on our same values and morals.

My Giant and I call it "THE GK-NOV 2023 RESOLUTION"

Yes ofcourse, it takes time to naturally look good. It can not be done instantly.. one step at a time and consistently.

Hey.. I remember once you said: "I know I can’t reverse the age thing but I’m working on the weight thing to at least recover some of my looks."

So why don't you just keep working on that one. But do it for yourself. Once you are successful, others will eventually see the "recovery" as well.

At Last..

Whether what is now happening in the Middle East, Israel - Palestine in particular, will affect policies of travelling to and from Indonesia or not, I am clueless.
If everything gets worse, then I guess I will have to wait for my Giant visit until "further notice". And that is it!

Anyway notice the way the bill is put on the table?

Let say I was the one who would pay the bill. I sat there (the empty chair). The waitress would put the bill on the table closer to me, BUT the position of the bill on the table was not like that. It would be the opposite as to make it easier for me to read.

That's the position would be if the bill was intentionally given to her.

Hope you get what I mean. Pardon my English.
But then, that's in restaurants in here. Not sure in the US though.
