Interesting! It is usually claimed "Ginger" is the result of a specific genetic sequence. I'm not so sure. It does seem if you cross dark hair & light hair, the result is often "Ginger".
My dad had jet black hair. Mom was ash blonde. No known Ginger on either side. Me?... Autumn Ginger.
Additionally, there are Black Gingers...black folks with naturally red hair. Their hair color, however, results from a different genetic sequence than Celtics or Autumns.
