Yes. You may want to try damsel-in-distress. VERY effective. Discounts on tires. Assistance from policemen. Getting fish hook baited. Getting married. My daughter is a Grand Master at this technique...And has employed it with outstanding results in all the situations mentioned.
Daughter has a maiden aunt. ..Auntie is in utter awe of daughter.
Of course, growing up, she had two subjects on which to perfect her artistry...me and her grandpa. She's our family's first girl since we'd arrived in this country 100 years previously. We were putty in her hands!
"Ever since the creation of the world his (God's) invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse; for although they knew God they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they because futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools."
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE! If you slow that vid down 35× and zoom in real close on the wind suiter, you'll see he is towing a banner that reads, "GOD IS DEAD!"
Now, however, if one would care to speculate how the court MIGHT rule should such a case ever be presented, that could be an entertaining question for debate.
It is my personal opinion that, as the clause reads "NATURAL born..." rather than "NATIVE born..." the court would accept the "citizen at time of birth" reasoning. And that would qualify Obama for the Presidency based on his mother's citizenship alone. The place of his birth would be irrelevant.
Again, that is MY opinion. My father in law was an Associate Justice on a state supreme court. He passed along some information on "personal opinions". He might have an opinion on an issue before the court. If a majority of the Justices on the court agreed with him, it was "law". If they did not, his opinion was, and I quote him, "just a f@rt in the wind". ......
@solar R Actually, the U.S. Constitution uses the phrase "natural born citizen" and that clause has never been defined in court. One line of reasoning goes that it could be anyone who is a U.S. citizen at the time of birth.
By that reasoning, as President Obama's mother was a U.S. citizen, he would've been a "natural born citizen" whether born within the U.S. borders or not. And as such, he would be eligible for the Presidency no matter where he was born - including Kenya.
In other words, if it could be proven that Obama was born in Kenya, that would NOT automatically disqualify him from being President. It COULD mean that some person or group (i.e. "birthers" egged on by political opponents) might challenge his qualifcation, and ask the U.S. Supreme Court to rule on the definition of the clause.
Given the obviously political nature of that question, it may be that the court wouldn't even accept the case. And if it did, the process would likely take so long that the decision would come down after Obama had left office.
The "birth issue" was a political ploy raised by political opponents in such a way as to lead people to BELIEVE Obama was not legally qualified to be President, and so vote against him. That, obviously, failed. As it pertains to the current President, this issue is about as dead as Caesar.
Wife was one of those mega Aquarians. Yes..."tenacious"...a good, diplomatic way of phrasing it. Worked for me...(Capri-quarian) Got along REAL good! Moon & mars in fixed Scorpio helped, I suppose.
If a person's sign includes the trait of "skepticism"...and the person is, indeed, skeptical...their very skepticism supports what they are skeptical of. Kinda crazy, eh?
I've also noticed that persons of certain signs are more skeptical than others...as would be expected based on the traits of their sign. Crazily, their very skepticism supports what they are skeptical of.
"Jesus said: If those who lead you say onto you: Behold, the Kingdom of God is in heaven, then the birds of the heaven will be before you. If they say unto you, It is in the sea, then the fish will be before you. But the Kingdom is within you, and it is outside of you. When you know yourselves, then shall you be known, and you shall know that you are the sons of the living Father. But if ye do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty."
"And having been questioned by the Pharisees (churchmen of their day) when the reign of God doth come, he (Jesus) answered them, and said, "The reign of God doth not come with observation, nor shall they say, Lo, here or lo there, for lo, the reign of God is within you."

Not far from what most of y'all are saying, actually. Owl included.
