Border policy’s success strains resources

Why only non-Mexicans?

Why do they get free legal?

Why only non-Mexicans? Why aren't they kicked out like everyone else?

Why just these returned?

This alone seems to be a good enough reason to just ship them ALL out, then let them pay for their own legal aid, back home, to find a LEGAL way to enter, or not at all.

Why does this apply to them when they aren't even supposed to be here? I thought American public schools were for American kids (that includes LEGAL immigrants).

Why? By the term "illegal immigrants" it is obvious they have committed the crime by coming here illegally = breaking the law= criminal.

And keep in mind that while they are complaining about conditions...

I see absolutely NO reason to treat these criminals better than our own who are over there risking their lives for us.

Guess this whole concept is just over my head. Nope, never gone to a salon for a manicure or pedicure. Last time I was in one at all was when I was a kid and my mother took me for a haircut (and boy did that look like hell LOL).
But what do they do at the salon that you can't do at home that makes it worth paying for?
And how can you stand the smell in those places? Do you just get used to it or something?

Hmmmm, well this site does have a whole forum for RELIGION. Not really that out of place on a dating site, since so many are devoted to their personal practice (whatever it may be). Just another way of finding common ground and mutual interests, values, etc. Personally, if I read "scientology" as a person's religion, I would know it was not someone I would want to initiate contact with for any kind of dating, because I think that religion is a bit nuts.
If I remember correctly, religion is even on the initial list of questions when you create your profile.
If you have such a problem with those posts, just don't read them. Pitching such a fit over a whole lot of nothing just shows your own lack of tolerance for what is meaningful to another.

Just the other day I found myself wondering what all would have to change if a man did live with us, or even have a key to come and go as he liked. Would be a bit wierd at first. My home has been a "chick pad" ever since my son moved out years ago, and we took on certain habits. Like we sure couldn't both hang out in our underwear on hot, lazy summer days anymore.

Kinda like all those "smoke and mirrors" that scare the heck out of men the next morning. I once showed a male friend of mine, who knows me plain faced 99% of the time, just what make up can do. Painted my face all up like the average woman does...he started acting "funny" LOL Told him to get over it, just smoke and mirrors.
People fake what they are on the inside too.

I got a good laugh out of one of her friends parents paying $90 for a set, then she lost a couple, then they paid another $90 for a new set, that she just peeled off two days later.
Naw, on for that short a time, I wouldn't worry LOL But, I am wondering if longer wear still ruins your nails.
And how long can your real nail grow out before it messes up the fake ones, or does it?

Ok, never had fake nails, or anything else, so maybe you people can tell me...
years ago I knew a woman who did this, and saw what it did to her real nails. Have they found a way so that it doesn't destroy/rot them any more?
(Only asking because now my daughter is thinking about getting those things, and although I think they are repugnant, for her it is a HEALTH concern for me, and want to know if it is even safe.)
As far as others speaking in foreign languages, I don't care or even bother to try to guess what they are talking about. I don't eavesdrop on english conversations either. IF they were talking about me, it would be their bad for being so rude, no skin off my nose. I don't care what rude people think of me. Now if it were a situation where I was a customer, no way would I let them intimidate me into, well for this example, not saying the color was ugly and you wanted a different one. YOU are paying them, not the other way around.

The uppity snobs around here tried something similar, (their petty BS that almost resulted in others, who had been here longer, losing their homes) and boy did I slam them! Yes, you can fight the system and win. Wish I had been around to help that old man.

The one by my house had a hole in the fence in the back. Sometimes, when we were just going to see the movie, and not wander from car to car visiting with friends, we would just sneak through the hole, turn on all the speakers back there, and then sneak back through to the log we sat on. That way we could see and hear, but no way we could get kicked out or anything.

LOL and after wearing them for over 30 years, I can tell the difference. Maybe we are just such airheads that we have little pockets up there that "normal" people don't.

I will never understand why people think it costs more money to not get fat. I haven't been fat since I was 13 (Mom's groceries). And have always gotten more for my money than almost anyone I know at the grocery store.
Buy less, eat less, pay less, weigh less. Seems simple.

Ok, I will give this a shot. While I think that in general, kids always get the short end of the stick from society, I personally have, and still do, put everything I have into mine, and what they have become, makes it worth all of it. There was a time when I was so broke that only the kid ate every day. When the food budget got low, I didn't really, and it went on for a couple of weeks every month. (Yes, as long as you have water, a person can survive for a very long time without solid food.) For some reason, didn't really bother me. Maybe because I actually LOVE my kids, and take my responsibility as their mother seriously.
Is that the kind of answer you are looking for?

Sorry, but if you don't mind, sign the petition and deal with the issue instead of just running to another country. The US sure gets enough of that already. And if you think you won't be tracked here, well that's just too funny. When it comes to the taxes, they don't even need any tracker other than our Social Security numbers because they just tax us for the roads. And now we even have security cameras watching the other cameras so they won't be stolen LOL

I don't think age has anything to do with liking Drive-Ins. They have always been the only theaters I would go to. Just hate feeling boxed in with all the candy and popcorn flying etc. Not to mention those people with the big hair sitting right in front of you.
I think my strongest memory from going would be the time I took my son when he was an infant. Went with a bunch of friends, so when he got antsy and fussy, I had to calm him so everyone else could hear the movie. I ended up standing outside the car, swaying with him on my shoulder, and had to stand with my back to the screen because if I turned to see it, and he couldn't, he got fussy again. At the age of 4 months he was demanding to see the show RFLMAO

When it works, it really is a good thing. Ok, so I like to cook, so a lot of my example will be regarding that LOL While I was teaching her about yanky munchies, I also learned how to make things that you will never even find in this country. My neighbors are from Mexico and we swap dishes back and forth all the time. LOL When I made some very spicy salsa, they were the only other people who could eat it. And no, neither of us are even very fluent in the other's language, but we find a way to commmunicate.

that through their heads, instead of constantly expecting the new countries/cultures they relocate to, to do all the changing/assimilating/accommodating. When I am in another country, I make sure I ask what the rules and norms are, just to avoid insulting anyone for that matter. I do understand that different people have different ways, and some think mine are crazy. You should have seen the look on the face of a woman from a third world country when she found out I could run the office machinery, cook and drive LOL To her, that was completely unheard of. But she was thrilled to death to see what I could do with chocolate.
Enriching a new country with ideas from your old one is ok, forcing it down their throat and trying to make the new country just like the old one is just stupid. If you were so partial to the old one, stay there. All this forcing is what makes other people push back just as hard, causing a lot of the conflicts.

In the US, you would think that the Iraq mess, illegal immigrants and our basic economy would be what they would work on. Definitely more immediate concerns.

About 20 years ago I was dating a guy who's brother married their first cousin, and had a baby who was born with defects. The entire family was so disgusted by the two of them that they were completely ostracized, but then this isn't the south.

I have a son well into adulthood who still sees guys with even one earring as looking "gay". His sibling doing something like this would even horrify him. And yes, the subject has come up, and that was my answer. Told her to wait until she moved out of my house, and if she did it then, to keep her mouth shut so I didn't have to see it, or take it out, when she came to visit. Of course when I told her what the common reasoning for doing such a thing was, she was disgusted enough to give up on the idea altogether. LOL
