We have that irritating weather where it looks very sunny and pretty, but still covered with iciness. Makes you want to go outside and work in the yard, til you get there LOL
I do believe that it is becoming more rare. Those of us who still do have integrity, well at least me, feel like dinosaurs from a forgotten era some days.

During my divorce, my ex paid some quack to spout a lot of garbage about our kid, who wouldn’t even talk to him at all, so how could he diagnose/determine anything except the kid didn’t want to have anything to do with him. A few years ago there was a traumatic event in the family that really got to my other kid. Took her to counseling, and she said all she did was straighten the therapist’s office while she was there (WTF???) Which leads me to… “And then one day i finally asked him what i was really doing there...because if i was only coming there to "offload"...i had alot of great friends i could do that with (at no cost even...)...since he didn't have an answer for me...I stopped going...” Seems that if all people had a good friend they could talk to, use for a “sounding board”, vent to…there would be a lot less need for shrinks. “Woo HOO!!! oceans5555 - strife in Iraq like what we see today is quite new, (I certainly do not see it as being new at all. The sects have been in conflict for as long as they have been split into different sects.)
oceans5555-- the US-- is the primary casue of the strife we read about… that they will continue to attack US interests until such time they feel the US is prepared to live with them peacefully. (Sorry, but I actually laughed when I read those. Yeah, literally. I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with both of those ideas.)

What do you think would happen if the US just pulled all troops out of Iraq? Would they all just kill each other? Would it just go on and on like it has for, well longer than most of us have been alive? Do you think they will finally find a way to get along and stop all the fighting? Do you think they will try to attack the US?

this lady has strongly stated about some kind of insanity or disabiliy in Moslems that unable them to be normal and live in peace. They must have tendencies to all sort of bad things and certainly people like this lady can show lots of "facts"
The simple FACT is they DON'T live in peace. You are the one forgetting that very relevant fact. No one has to "mix in" with any of them for there to be conflict.
RFLMAO - the perfect revenge is to have one call you, and let him go on and on and on. I agree with this. I don't know if you would call it "fundamental", but I seriously don't believe that God wants anyone hating or killing anyone, much less going to war over religion. Sure, I even apologize to Him if I have "wrong" thoughts. BUT, I don't tell anyone else what to believe, so I really resent it when others try to force me to go to their church, and "do like I do", especially when there are so many "christians" that are so mean. Not much difference between radical Christians and any other radical group. IMO, a true fundamental Christian should be someone who does their best NOT to incite hate, fear, etc. Live and LET LIVE.
Knives - anything from gardening (not much in my house that doesn't get used out there LOL), a stand in screw driver, opening paint cans...to putting the emblems back on my car. Chopsticks - everything else others have listed, and, making birdcages, houses and used for drying racks for other projects. Tongs - any time you want to grab anything, but need a bit more reach, like the socks that drop between the laundry machines. Dishes - animal dishes, birdbathes, hatching frog eggs, ... Coffee grinder - reducing all dried herbs to ground ones (why would anyone want to put weed through one? to make brownies?) Food can be multi purpose as well. Rice can be used to reduce moisture. Cornstarch is good for giving dogs "dry baths". Even the appliances are multi purpose. E.g. dishwasher is just used to store things (never trusted one to actually get the dishes clean enough).
