The doctor that had been seeing an 80-year-old woman for most of her life finally retired. At her next checkup, the new doctor told her to bring a list of all the medicines that had been prescribed for her.
As the young doctor was looking through these, his eyes grew wide as he realized she had a prescription for birth control pills.
"Mrs. Smith, do you realize these are BIRTH CONTROL pills?"
"Yes, they help me sleep at night."
"Mrs. Smith, I assure you there is absolutely NOTHING in these that could possibly help you sleep!"
She reached out and patted the young Doctor's knee.
Yes, dear, I know that. But every morning, I grind one up and mix it in the glass of orange juice that my 16-year-old granddaughter drinks. I guarantee you, it helps me sleep at night.
I'd have to say Jason Statham, even though I'd never seen him before. He has that "Bruce Willis" kind of look. Brendan Fraser is nice looking until he smiles. Something about his teeth bothers me. He just kind of seems goofy.
I thought Russell Crowe was HOT in Cinderella Man, but after seeing him in Body of Lies... It did NOT flatter him.
Don't know who Vinnie Jones is, but no attraction there... sorry.
When I was married, I thought about 'running away', but I would never have left my daughter with her father, alone. I just hated my life with him so much... but not her.
After we separated, & I had to deal with her ADD & the schools... & having her diagnosed... & the cost of counseling & prescriptions, yes, I definitely thought of just 'escaping it all'. But none of this was her fault. And as hard as it was, she was still my baby. She has since grown into such a great, independent, intelligent young woman. And I'm very proud of her!
