I am so relieved you did not fall off the earth. If you did I would not want to leave my little area ever again. What if I fell off. I cannot fly. Good to see your face again

Then they can come work but I guess when not working go back home. I do not know alot about the work visas.
And it is a law for cubans. It has made the hatians who wash up here very angry. Though a lot of them get to stay too. It leaves a big void in the border security area, do you not think? Also they say the rafters have started going to mexico and crossing the border there to get here. It is actually the security aspect that worries me. When they hit the shores they run. Trying to get to a populated area where they can get lost in the crowd. But they usually run in a pack. And that gets them caught quicker. But there are those who break from the pack. And untill caught we have no idea who they are or what has been unleashed here in society. Alot are of criminal background. 
I was curious if you had heard of that. I keep reading and people talk about the borders but they do not realize that we have taken on thousands this way. They are not aware. But this policy has been in place for a very long time. I do not see it changing. We have many cubans here and they would fight tooth and nail to see it not changed. Alot of times on those rafts are their family members. Some have not seen their family for years. But they have not forgotten them. I feel for them. But I also know in todays times we need to tighten those borders. 
They say they send the criminals back but being where I live I can assure you that some fall through the cracks. In my area there are many countries people who come here in these home made rafts. So dangerous. Many do get lost at sea never to be found. But our borders have not been real safe for years. But my question would be is there a humane way to close to our borders? And how can you close borders with policies like this in place?
May I have one of each and then make up my mind?
I very seldom eat fried foods anymore. Or red meat. For some reason they rob me of my energy. I got a whole list of things I no longer eat often. 
I make a good roast. 
Do you like the fried corn bread. The kind done in a iron skillet like a big flap jack?
field peas and snaps. All the stuff I don't cook anymore. Why bother for one.
mashed, fried, baked, even boiled I put mustard on them boiled 
I went with a friend one day she volunteers her time to deliver meals. Everyone was so nice where we went. And happy to see us. 
And yes I believe in trying to stretch a dollar. And I hope most of the ones on food stamps are trying to stretch it too. I see it both ways when I am in the store. So if the three big fast food places are really behind this why do people not boycott those places to send them a message of displeasure
I do know even the healthy food choices advertised at these places is not what I think one should be consuming. And sooner or later we as a country need to really start teaching our young proper food choices again. To many are not being taught. 
Got to love an unbalanced machine. Talking about the washer not me. I am balanced....sometimes 
I don't know if this will make you smile but think of my washing machine
