Yeah, the beaches are very cool, particularly along the Queensland coast.

Our own eastern coach beaches are pretty wonderful too, less populated.

Just a stone's throw from Sydney....3 hour flight.

Australia is a great place to visit/live....aside from NZ, of course...

Melbourne is pretty....lots of green belts.....and up the coast of Queensland....some lovely beaches, though the further north you go, the hotter it gets....just need some time to aclimatize to the conditions.

...and if I had the opportunity, the UK, particularly England and Scotland, my ancestral roots.

My children would probably choose the USA where their extended family reside(on their Dad's side).
