Yes, this is a dumb poll, but I wonder how people perceive themselves.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" (yeah yeah, whatever)

"I will be after the lipo/facelift" (humor to evade the Q doesn't count)

"I'm hot s***" (cute, but no cigar)

"I wouldn't say I'm beautiful / handsome, but fairly good looking" (goodness.. just answer yes or no)

"well, compared to x, y and z, I'm gorgeous/ugly" (this isn't an exercise in relativity, try again)

"I'm good looking (or not) for my age" (geez... stop it already!)

Just be honest. Do you or do you not think you're good looking?

My position: If I were put on the spot, I'd have to say no. I was when I was young, but not anymore. I think I am good looking after all beauty is in the eye of the beerholder

I would think he should be understading with you having your only family stationed overseas, I know I would and would be more then happy to have gone out with you at a later time if I was him. I have been stood up many times before on dates and maybe he has to, the big difference with you is you were sincere enough to apoligise and want to continue the date. You were in the right my dear and your date showed his true colors before you had your date so lucky for you he did. Godbless you in your search

I tend to disagree with you about marriage, my parents were married 42 years till death seperated them, my wife and I were married almost 18 years till death seperated us, I do agree that couples may stop romancing each other, I never stopped with my wife because I had the thought process that said life is to short , you must love her every day just not on Valentines day. I believe that couples are quick to get married and should take up to a couple of years to get to know each other well enough before making a life time commitment to one another, I wish you much luck mr texan.

I am sorry about your friend , sounds like she has a problem with keeping her legs closed, he was justified in running the other way, she probably would have cheated on him. Sounds like your friend isn't through being wild and free yet, its to bad sounds like she had a potentially nice boyfriend in the works. Any time you can get a guy to drive 3 hours one way and spend real time trying to get to know you and not trying to get in your pants then there is a really nice guy and she should feel absolutely devestated because nice guys don't just come along very often and they are getting more and more rare to find, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I would love it if a woman would show interest and want to romance me, I am a romanticman so if she romanced me she would have to prepare to be romanced back. Thinking back before my late wife and I had gotten married she had romanced me, things like cooking for me, driving 20 miles to meet me after work without me knowing she was gonna do that, she did alot of sweet things to romance me and I did for her to. I think its awesome a woman shows true interest.

, theres alot of places that don't care how there bathrooms look, being in the business myself the best rated bathroom I have ever seen was a resturant in StCloud MN. The Olive Garden , the bathroom was like walking into heaven, stone work all around exceptionally clean, brass paper towel holders next to the sink. Very good detail I made sure I made a comment to the manager on duty. Sorry you had to suffer the oppisite ladyfingers however its the norm for most bathrooms.

I have worked in Building maintenance for almost 24 years, the womens rooms are always cleaner then the mens, the most digusting foul things have always been 99% of the time in the mens room. As for the building you where contracting with well its sounds more like they don't have very good Janitors taking care of the building. There should never be used tampons laying on the floor, blood on walls or any such business going on. Its very apparent this building maintenance supervisor needs to tell his employees to do the job right or find another job. To me it sounds as if they have a contractor doing the cleaning that would explain no attention to detail and would explain why the bathroom was in such a mess. If a contractor does it it may be contracted out for only three or four days a week, thus the mess, if you have regular staffed employees then theres no excuse for the bathrooms to look that way. A bathroom ,lobby,and other public areas of a building are generally area's where a person gets a first impression of the people who work there and how well the building staff takes care of the building.

Maybe some guys find not getting a mate till they are older is a good thing but thankgod I'm not that type of man. Sincerely I just want a sweet hearted woman who is easy going and who would love to share a relationship with me, no nagging no game playing but someone who is honest and who will love me and cherish me as much as I do her. life is to short to ask for anything less.

My favorite movie was THE THING with Kurt Russel, ya never knew what was gonna happen next, after having saw it once I was seeing it a second time with my sister, I went to the kitchen for coffee came back and snuck up on her, I grabed her, then had to go get a ladder to get her out of the attic lol.

Its right wing reporting at its best, if you look real close Lou Dobbs has horns lol , doubt if theres any merit to it. Well the polls are interesting, a post poll note, I cannot say how sad it is that 22% of the people polled think its funny to leave a guy waiting, I don't care if your male or female no one should have to wait for a date that isn't going to show up, give them a call let them know ahead of time your not coming please be responsable and think of other peoples feelings , treat people as you would like to be treated. No thats a male model from polay girl. of course its me, cancun febuary 07, no I look at profile pictures and they just don't show, I of course have had my share of dates that have showed up, I just wanted to get a females opinion on why they would do a no show or not call, I simply don't entertain the thought of talking to them any longer. Like one of the ladies said..I am better off they didn't, don't want anyone that is that self centered....thanks for your post..
