RE: Schapelle Corby ......

There seems to be a big difference between the weights ,I understand it was six kilo's .

RE: Schapelle Corby ......

with a weight of six kilos her last boogie board will need replacing for one that can float .

RE: More Random Thoughts ....

wish they would make it easy to navigate .Off to light the fire wave

RE: They will do anything for a buck

The same type of scum that were running thirty or more finance companys are now running superannuation scams here . Their charging of fees is taking most peoples savings right from the start . Not compulsory yet . Having a compulsory scheme buying state assets is nothing more than a tax by another name . Don Brash is the worst type of person to ever play a role in NZ , his vehement opposition to the scheme (superannuation) coming in has been eclipsed by his keenness to run one and accept the attendant fees of course .

RE: OM-D EM1

when he came at me I stood behind the strainer post the gate's swung on as he would have broken the timber if he had hit it in the middle between the strainers . I tried to get a photo of him over the fence above me and was looking at the screen when it appeared like he was coming over so the pic was of the ground as I left the scene .

RE: Feb Photo Comp - Broken or Restored Household Object

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----Tilly Lamp ,,kerosene powered under pressure . A bright light with the bonus of heat in the winter . Used one to heat the bathroom for my boys when they were little . 30 minutes was time enough to take the chill away . Broken mantel on this one because a moth entered it ,cracked glass as well .

RE: Feb Photo Comp - Broken or Restored Household Object

professor professor good idea ,I should have thought of that long time ago . Finding a place to store my solder is always a problem .

RE: No crash, yet. Then, why....

News on our state radio is that US manufacturing data is bleak . Worst in decades . US$ down against most currencies . Which in its self is a good thing for US exporters for those left in business .As for the bankers killing themselves , damn good start .

RE: Ian Thorpe

don't know if this is relevant ,but some weeks ago an Aussie sportsman drowned in Hamilton , some people had seen him disorientated before he entered the river were he drowned .

RE: Hunting

yea ,easter 98 I had a mob of 70 goats in a 20 acre paddock next to a road . Well fenced with an electric wire as well . 3 young guys shot 40 of them . When I found them later in the day there were dead and dying all over the paddock ,some had been shot with a shot gun which wounded rather than killed . No way out of the paddock that was wanton killing .

RE: Hunting

Well simply or any other way ,no . NZ's Department of Conservation uses recreational hunters to help control several types of deer in our Conservation estate . There program of encouraging hunters to shoot the hinds as well as stags has met resistance as some hunters don't think shooting hinds is sport . How ever when deer numbers reach endemic proportions as they do and damage the bush they are poisoned with 1080 as per my clip post 196 . To a man or woman for thay matter ,as many hunters are female , find the poisoning of deer and pigs abhorrent .

RE: everyone must

lucky he had his undies on .

RE: Hunting

They do Conrad . Even force them into a corner in a fence to get their jollies .

RE: Scottish Independence, Yay or Nay??

I have a foot in both camps and I think it's a dumb idea .Petty little pricks trying to make a point .

RE: Voting Jan Photo Comp - Friends

RE: OM-D EM1

RE: What Would You

hehe not bad ,much better than a starter motor falling out in the middle of Masterton , two sons very embarrassed that their father owned a land rover and was related to them .

RE: Hunting

At least they are on their land this year so far and shooting away from me . If there is any thing blown to bits and still alive tomorrow as has been in the past it will be on U-Tube .

steer doing his best to leave the yards hehehe
What he looks like after wacking the gate . Last time I had a fat little heifer in the yards on her own , I teased her by standing in the gate way . She was not bluffing with her raking the ground . This fellow really really not bluffing .Squeaky Boy the bulls legs in the top of the picture admiring his progeny .

RE: What Would You

Never mind AA you can work on mine hehe it needs the heads off to replace the rings , radiator needs repairs as it leeks when the tractor leans over to the right too far . Final drives leak oil so you better wip the sprockets off as well . Just like a fighter plane it needs 7 hours working on to get 1 working . Very famous old dozer as there has been 217 views and nearly 13 hrs watching on U-Tube .

RE: OM-D EM1

there was an article on radio nz national world watch this morning about how people should accept predators ,lions, tigers and hyenas controlling pest animals . Baboons ,deer just a few named . Australian dingoes and guard dogs got a mention . The question was not posed , How many kilo's of dog tucker rams does it take to keep a wild cat up a tree by a bunch of maremma .

RE: Pets & Children ......

Next time you find a wreck try twisting a centre punch on a window .Low impact and controlled glass breakage used for rescue . Most safety glass has a plastic sheet between layers of glass which stops it breaking into large shards . I was trained to do the job as part of Rural Fire and was surprised how simple and safe it was . WACKING THE BLOODY WINDOW WITH A WHEEL BRACE IS NOT ON AS IT WILL COVER THE INSIDE WITH GLASS AND SEND LITTLE SPLINTERS AROUND THE INTERIOR INTO EYES .The tip of a good knife should do the job as well . Just push and twist ,don't stab .

RE: Bieber Troubles

birds of a feather these two ,cell mates ???

RE: Political Correctness

haha are you kidding , 4 year olds maybe , kids can be the most vicious little beasts known to mankind over the slightest differences .

RE: Pets & Children ......

A child lost consciousness while the mother was trying to get the child to unlock the door . Not every body carry's a centre punch in their pocket but something similar pushed and twisted against the glass has it disintegrating . Instant access for any body faced with the problem .

RE: New Zealand to change

exactly ,rubbish would sell NZ out before breakfast . A continuation of stripping NZ's identity by rubbish who have no loyalty to anything save their own greed .
