Was speaking from my own experiences of more mature people that I know. If they had the choice they would pick seeing them in person to the internet. It's not that that's how they choose to see them or spend their time clearly.
Their children and grandchildren, their health. The health of those they love. Trying to enjoy each day they are given. Up early and work away and keep themselves going. Being out of the rat race means they have just turned to their hobbies and family and are quite content to live their lives with them. Certainly not wasting time on the Internet.
Amber set to give testimony on Wednesday. They say that a forensic psychology is to give testimony tomorrow, not too sure of the latter.
She has now changed her PR team. And Elon nor Franco are to give testimony either....so I'm not sure how many witnesses are to take the stand for her.
Also apparently the jury arnt too happy with how witnesses are cross examined by her team. So for anything to have an impact I think johnnys team shouldn't adopt the same approach when cross examining her witnesses.
I have dated a black man and to be honest I found him to be very self centred, very much selfish...and quite disrespectful of women. He is the only black man i have dated. But dated other nationalities, and those were OK but obviously didn't work out for 'different places in life' reasons.
I sort of agree...I've always found clothes a waste of time and I walk around my house often times naked....its very freeing and quite nice....don't even care if the curtains are closed or not.
Also and I've felt this for a while...I'm sick of the travel and time it takes to get anywhere...train journeys, car journeys plane journeys. Could we not just skip 50 years and all have advanced to a travel escalator where you choose your destination and in a second the doors open and your there.
Now that you mention it...the oddly protruding nose...the little teeth...the greasy hair, and I've no doubt the sticky fingers....yes , yes you do look like a rat.
Easy say but take no notice Bo. A man of your integrity and kindness shouldn't be subjected to the two idiots of CS
One has a so called business , usually that takes up ALOT of someone's time, that's of course if its successful, and usually run by good hardworking people...I don't know where he gets the time to be here. Dunno what the other fella is and I won't waste a second thinking of it.
Country side in Ireland, with a river nearby. Forest in the near distance and a beach within 5 min drive. Nice small house with big kitchen. Nice area out back with a large shed for hobby/interests like crafts, painting. Etc. Hopefully in full health to enjoy my retirement and plenty of money to go travelling which I'd hope to do alot of.
Happy retirement Lindsy hope it goes well for you and welcome back.
Looks to me like Johnny is losing it much more today. Wish he would stop back answering and less of the sarcasm, it doesn't help his case at all...evenhough the defence are shockingly petty with some things they have brought forward.
If she wins this case then she is one he'll of a smart cookie, with the best team ever...(that apparently Elon Musk is to pay for).
Who else knew Amber Heard has now had a baby and that the father is Elon Musk!!
Johnny isn't the gentleman I thought he was but still doesn't make him a wife beater. I hope his testimony is over soon as it is now a little boring and repetitive
Amber tried 4 times to get it stopped from going to court. He pushed for it to go to court and televised so that the world could know what he went through and for the sake of his kids family and career he wanted to have his name and reputation vindicated. That's why
They arnt due to take to the stand again until tomorrow. If you are on Instagram look up the page houseinhabit.....I don't know who she is bit she has friends and sources in high places, and she is covering the johnny depp trial...its funny and also informative..she is actually meant to be revealing something today about Amber heard on it.
Always loved Johnny Depp so entered it already hating her. She certainly has alot of disturbing issues I how she treats people...and I don't for a second believe he touched her...but the more he is cross examined the less I'm liking Mr Depp and hate to say it The things he has said were horrid but also know it came from some one who was psychologically tortured.
Price you pay for dating outside of your league and age gap...23 years is too much....he wanted the trophy She wanted the fame...at this stage one is as bad as the other.
I think Johnny is fortunate that he is surrounded by yes men who would sell their soul for him because he is so generous...but I still kind of like him.
I would love to know though what he meant when he was talking about Amber's Sister Whitney..he said she seemed always sad and that she missed out on something in life and then he was told to shut it....I had heard that Amber is a complete bully over her sister.
What ones do you watch I watch alot of YouTube. I like That Chapter.. Irish guy who goes through the cases ..puts in humour but its mostly aimed at the guilty...he is the one to go to for more lighter ones
It's an hour long so I don't presume that anyone will watch.
Basically it's Ryan Waller. Police were called to his house , Ryan was coherent and cooperative.. said that people entered his house and shot him and his girlfriend...the girlfriend was dead on the couch..he was alive...pretty OK to suspect at that stage he was guilty and lying. Ryan is lucid at the beginning...after a while he starts to me less sense and starts to feel sleepy and tired and uncooperative He is interrogated for a long time...before the interrogator realises that Ryan was in fact shot in the face and was dying before his eyes.
I watched the video Jac...certainly a very interesting man...must watch more on him.
Thanks Mer. I'm new to this and don't know even a fraction...but am interested in it. If I come across again the cases that I saw that offered it then I will post a link here, but I watch so many I can't remember the names
And Jac the ones that I saw, there was no doubt in my mind, or that of the person who research it that he had done it.
Interesting that it's something someone innocent has to go with. I would have always imagined it was only for those who were most certain guilty but wanted an easier and shorter term inside.
I've seen some interrogations where the person was innocent and the questioning and almost coercion they were subjected to make me sick.
I'll go find one case that shocked me and will let you make up your own minds on it, those that want to watch that is
The ability to challenge issues on appeal is not unfettered. Certain choices made at the trial level will impact what challenges may be raised on appeal. This applies equally to pleas and trials. For example, a bench trial will, almost without exception, significantly diminish appellate challenges available compared to those available after a jury trial. Likewise, a guilty plea will significantly limit the available appellate remedies in comparison to a no contest plea.
The Sixth District recently had cause to reaffirm that guilty pleas, no matter how entered, strip available appellate remedies. State v. Blackmon, 6th Dist. Lucas No. L-19-1036, 2020-Ohio-2857 (May 8, 2020). Mr. Blackmon faced two indictments, brought two months apart, stemming from one incident. On the day of trial, the state offered to dismiss the second indictment in exchange for a guilty plea to an amended charge in the first indictment. Mr. Blackmon entered an Alford plea and was sentenced consistent with the recommendation of the state.
Here, Mr. Blackmon sought to challenge the trial court’s failure to rule on a motion filed by the state to join the two indictments or, in the alternative, dismiss the state’s motion for joinder. Mr. Blackmon did not challenge the voluntariness of his plea, which the Sixth District found to be knowing, voluntary, and intelligent. That plea, despite being an Alford plea through which Mr. Blackmon maintained his innocence, operated as a waiver to any claims he may have had regarding the underlying joinder issue.
The Sixth District reiterated long-standing precedent that Alford pleas are still guilty pleas and, as such, result in a waiver of trial errors. The Sixth District determined that, even if his Alford plea had not waived his appellate rights as to the joinder issues, there was no plain error below. The Blackmon decision serves as a reminder that all decisions, be they at trial or plea, impact future appellate rights.

I watch alot of crime shows and this is a new one on me.
Once brought to trial a defendant can submit an Alford plea which to my understanding is where thr defendant knows that the prosecution have enough evidence to convict them, and so they know they will be found guilty, but in submitting the Alford plea they accept the inevitable guilty plea but without the admission themselves that they are guilty, so that they can receive a lesser sentence.
Why is this even a thing I don't get it, why is there so many options to an obviously guilty person, so that they can get less time. Are the courts that clogged up that they would accept this joke of a plea? Is it new in America or has it always been there. I've only come across a few cases where it's been given and funny enough in the last 3 I've seen it was given and accepted?
Is it not a slap in the face to the family of the victim. Why should anyone who, premeditated, takes the life of another.
I put this in current events but I'm not sure it's all that current a thing.
I must watch...I've seen plenty on Instagram have recommended it....its not normally my thing but am intrigued now...was gonna started the real housewives aswell....
