The world is just getting too complex for me. They even mess me up every time I go to the grocery store.. You would think they could settle on something themselves but this sudden "Paper or Plastic?" every time I check out just knocks me for a loop.
I bought some of those cloth re-usable bags to avoid looking confused but never remember to take them in with me.
Now I toss it back to them.. When they ask me, "Paper or Plastic?" I just say, "Doesn’t matter to me. I am bi-sacksual." Then it‘s their turn to stare at me with a blank look.
I was thinking more of when it is reduced to name calling and accusations. The "YOU PEOPLE ALL THINK" type of post.
There was a thread a few days ago making fun of a video of a service in a Pentecostal church. That isn't defending ones position. That is just being mean spirited.
From what I have seen of your posts and threads you seem to like to play nice and for everyone to have fun. It would be nice if everyone felt that way.
I married into a family of Republicans. We agree on some things. Others we agree to disagree.
Faith, be it in a higher power or in one's self is a very personal thing. Still there are many here on both extremes that seem to feel justified in being abusive of anyone who dares to believe differently than they do.

I had someone try to fix me up with a friend of theirs when I was first dating. I did not want to be near this person and things were not going well so I curled up in a ball and holding my head while sitting on the couch and started rocking back and forth whining "No, no, no, this is bad this is very bad! PLEASE NOOOOOOOO!"
Some seem to be very determined to try. It shocks me to see the amount of anger and hatred that can be expressed over disagreement over personal beliefs.
