I don't get why she would defend him like she did because in the world I live in, you leave a person who beats you up. Maybe she is just too frightened of him to speak out.
In actuality, its probably me. Here, I feel more relaxed and I don't come here with the intent of "finding that one" because I know realistically, it would never work out because of the distances. When talking to locals however, I tend to be more "watchful" of myself and its probably changing something in my personality thus putting me in the predicament.
I can come here to CS and spend my time talking to great and awesome women from around the world, yet on another site where there are more locals, they all seem alien to me. Why is that?
