I used to respond to every mail, even if I wasn't interested but what started to happen was if I responded that I was not interested, I would sometimes get "hate" mail and more than once, have gotten multiple hate mails. I decided that I was no longer going to respond if I was not interested and that policy has made life much simpler.
There are many others who had my experience and have done the same as I did.
All depends on how much you trust them, if they are trustworthy, you shouldn't have anything to worry about and if they are not trustworthy, they shouldn't be in your life to begin with.

The next day the girl came skipping home FROM school. "Mommy, Mommy," she yelled, "we were in gym class today, and when we showered, all the other girls had flat chests, but I have these!" And she lifted her tank top to reveal a pair of 36Cs.
Looking at it from a biological standpoint, men are driven by testosterone and women by estrogen, maybe estrogen is more prone to "craziness" than testosterone. That could be a complete load of crap what I just said but it just a possibility.
