Unmatch, i dont understand this, although
i haven't read all the posts.
But you did say, you dont want a full blown
relationship...she does.

Well in my mind that would be the end it.

A walk through an English woodland

Hi Alison,

Yes its really frustrating, this place is a
hidden gem.
To make matters worse, not far from there
is an old gritstone quarry, used for many
years by local (and not so local) climbers.
I use it quite a lot, and being so close to
the city its used by youth clubs and schools
to introduce young people to the sport.
Sadly the quarry is also on the same route.

On a positive note though, the quarry does
belong to the BMC (Brithish Mountaineering
Council} and they are adding their weight to
to the protest.

We've not given up yet.

my spiritual home.

There are four other alternative routes.
The other four would not impact on the
environment as much as this one, but
being more costly it has been decided
this is the preferred route.
The fight is not over by a long way
though.
Its a pity, the batteries in my camera
ran out yesterday, otherwise i could have
taken many more pics.
It was a beautiful day.

There's a serious amount of local opposition,
but somehow i dont think it will make any
difference.

Before its gone for good.

Went out for a walk yesterday with the hound.

Oh how autumn can be so beautiful.
Took some pics which i have put on
my profile.

Approval has just been granted to
run a four lane highway through this
most beautiful of places.

The price of progress very mad

RE: whats the most daring thing you have ever done.

Bit like abseiling off the empire state
when there are perfectly good lifts in
the buildinglaugh
