Well its sure being played up on the radio, but there are some big premiere league fixtures being played this weekend...big competition i think. I wonder who benefits from this, surely not the Dolpins as this should have been their home fixture.
Trish, i remember Roger jumping out of a first floor flat window with the stash as the drug squad burst into the room. "Stop him" they yelled at a bemused passer by as Roger legged it down the road shouting "eat s**t mother f*****s"
After searching through the 'archives of oblivion' i remember one incident many years ago. We were cruising around in our old hippy bus when the law pulled us. After checking us out he insisted on looking in the back of the van. In the back was a couple of armchairs and a table. On the table was an ash tray with a joint end in it. "right lads he said, "i can do you for that" "what?" we replied. "stealing ash trays from pubs" came the dumb asses answer.
This Sunday Miami Dolphins play the New York Giants at Wembly Stadium, the first ever competitive Nfl game played outside the USA. Could this be a new trend...how long before we see English Premier League games played in, maybe New York or Boston.
If i were a Giants or Dolphins fan, i wouldn't feel too happy about this, particularly Dolphin fans. This should have been their home fixture.
That routes out of the question now which is a shame, you didn't travel on the magic bus by any chance did you? My friend used to drive that in the seventies. Peshawar is still a crazy place, i loved it in a funny kind of way, but you sure do have to keep your wits about you. Not for the package holiday crew of the faint hearted. The real beauty is much further north in the mountains, a fantastic place. wonderful people, its really is a walk on the wild side.
