Person can be smart in one proffesional skill and 'stupid' in life and relationship choices so in my view thats relative 'smartness' - I always admire inteligent men but I think the most that matters is how person makes you feel...and that is good for your well being in general.

If men is not feeling appreciated, perhaps he needs to change his taste in women he likes and find someone more compatible, as well consider to look at his own weaknesses and improve in removing personal barriers to love better ...and the same goes for women.

Well, I am not overly obsessed with a men or women rights ...There's easy going good people on both sides that doesn't force such agenda on each other but instead taking differences as complimentary values in harmony of sharing responsibilities, taking care of one another ...and if some problem arises taking compromise in give and take...instead of chosing to be staborn in hot head principals, rather be guided by love that refuse to take adventige of another person love and care...Maybe I am romantic idealist but I think, there's no confusion btw men and women equal rights when both genuinely love to give one another the best of self....and pushing principal's and rules comes when love is missing ...and selfish love interest takes over.

You can't blame him for flawed as people without any picture rarely appear serios in dating ghost of the same kind. Between ghost picture and someone with photo, who would you think is more serious ....although there is no guarantee for eather to be serious.

I am suspecting that maturity and Ango-Saxon influences calm down a lot of my Mediteranian -'hot blood' native temper that's in a way similar to Italian or Spanish and all Mediterraneans ...
I rather dislike too much of body language talk and traditional greetings of so much kissing and huging friends, acquaintances, family and relatives... but strong will still remaining.

I guess your ex originated from Dalmatian Coast region (like me) because most people there are very familiar with Italian language too and also speaking in dialect much of Italian wordings .... as well they learn in school English from UK (as compulsory language) and second option of learning different EU languages is: Italian, Franch or German.
It was like that in my generation but since I left...maybe they teach Asian languages too

I believe in marriage and family life....altrough for now I am ' married to my daughter' It reminds me of funny American comedy 'married with children.'
I am not too keen to have someone, more out of fear that possible relationship with significant person may take me away from my only (grown up) child that needs me...so I choose motherhood over man.
