Nothing like those old tube amps? I've got a '64 fender vibro champ. I play a fender coronado II, it's a hollowbody electric, has nice action! I also have my grandfathers' regal dobro(pre 39), it's what I learned on. Oh yeah I've got a harmony acoustic with a pick up in it. I hadn't realized harmony made such a nice guitar.
I only play well enough for my own enjoyment, but hey that's good enough for me!
Someone was talking about an article on something - bio....voids, this is probably bioflavinoids. They are in some vit.C supplements and are in there to help assimilation of the C. I think one organic source is rosehips. Rosehips also are a good source of C.
Cayenne peppers are loaded with vit.C and also stimulates the immune system.
Onions and garlic have organic sulphur compounds that are very good for the body. Garlic has antiviral and antibacterial properties AND also stimulates the immune sys. Garlic purifies the blood, lowers cholesterol, returns elasticity to the blood vessels and is good for your heart! I call it vitamin G, it is excellent for colds! I eat 4 or 5 whole raw cloves when I get a scratchy throat(usually the night before the cold sets in) and it kills the cold bug(and any close friendships) and I don't get the cold. It is very hot(spicy) so I eat it with a sandwich, like a radish. Cooked is not near as potent as raw, however it is better than not eating it at all. This is also a goodly portion of what is so good for you in chicken noodle soup!
A very cheap and easy thing that is great for joints is a simple box of gelatin every day. This like other things for joints can take up to 2 months before you can notice any benefits, but it can happen sooner. But what have you got to lose, I think if any bad side effects were to come from taking it they would have been found out by now. How many hundreds of years have people been eating gelatin? Of course it has to be real gelatin made from animals and not some synthetic colloidal.
Uncooked honey has natural antibiotics in it and has even been used as a poultice on cuts and abrasions for centuries. Bee pollen from local plants can help with allergies too. BUT caution should be exercised when using it, as if you have severe allergies it can also cause you to go into anaphylactic shock(a severe allergic reaction) which wouldn't be good at all!
Of course as with all supplements one should check with their regular Dr. to make sure it is safe to use what you are intending to treat yourself with.
