Hi Nessa, yes the kids do get hurt the most, it is so sad. I always remember when my ex left, my son 5yrs old and daughter 7yrs, my son went to bed absolutely crying his little eyes eyes out, it broke my heart. They are both better now, 8 yrs later. A father should either be in a childs life or just leave things be as being an absent father then coming back into a childs life can really mess them up. Some men were meant to be fathers and some not. I think the ones who don't just have feelings for their child have a selfish streak in them.
