RE: Where do you want to be right NOW?!

I answered in love. Its been a long time since I have been.
I have loved in recent times and continue to love but being in love, not just lust or having a notion of someone.....proper in love with someone and that that returned....now that would be delightful.

RE: FM104

I agree that this is not an issue that should be forgotten about.
Suicide is at an epidemic stage in our country and as such we all need to aware of the relevant services. This young man was in desperate need of help and maybe the only way he felt he could get it was by making such a public display or his anguish.
From personal experience I know how hard it can be. I remember at one point sitting in a room nearing the end of my tether and being told that there was nothing they could do for me. I insisted on seeing someone else the next day and within weeks of that second consultation I was seeing a therapist who I will un-ashamedly say changed my life.
It is a sorry stage of affairs when people have to fight to get the help they need.
I truly hope this young man gets the correct services involved now.

RE: Would YOU erase all memory of an ex if you could?

Not at all....
our interactions with people form who we are.
If we want to focus on the negative aspects then we do....but I choose to focus on the positive ones from a negative situation.

My cheating ex left me a shell of a person but it also increased my self-esteem too. It made me realise that it is as much about being with a person who deserves me as it is about what sort of person I feel I deserve.

RE: CS Get Togethers

RE: Fathers right march

Why can a thread not stay on track in this place?

I fully agree that fathers should have equal rights with regards to their children so will support a march for this.

As I have said many many times in various forums...there are loser dads and vindictive mothers out there, we all know this. But the vast majority are decent normal people who just want the best for their children and these are the people I will support in this motion.

RE: Electricity prepay power

I have an electric ireland meter in my house and yes i did have to have arrears to have it installed....nowhere near the 2k mark that fifi mentioned though. I had to get my landladies permission to have it installed but she had no problem with it.
I had one when i had my council house in Dundalk and loved it. I love having one now again. It means I can keep a good idea of how much things cost to run....some crazy money...others cheaper than you would think.
A few euro is taken off my bill every week and as jenny said their is emergency credit and they cant cut you off if you run out in the evenings or over the weekend.
For anyone on a SW payment I would highly recommend the household budget scheme.

I honestly dont know why landlords dont put them automatically into houses they are renting out.

Who would you like to meet.........

you know i don think i hate anyone...there are some people (not on here) that I dislike somewhat....but hate.....nobody.

Who would you like to meet.........

RE: The Impossible - Movie

I hadnt read the book so I was going in with an open mind.
Most things Ang Lee does are good.
The reviews I read were good, especially on the visual front, so it was worth going to for me and the 10 and 11 yr old boys I had with me enjoyed it too.

RE: the smell of spring is in the air

there was snow in April 1999 in letterkenny!
I'd just moved to work there after easter and the first week it was really warm and the second it snowed.
