in my amateur opinion its caused by the leak in the roof either that or my dishwasher is leaking, but how wet the floor gets means it cant be down to that as the dishwasher is only on once a week, twice at the most. And the leak in the upstairs bedroom is between the walls which is directly above the section of living room the leak is and again coming up from behind the walls. Defo not my doing but just in mood for a huge hullabaloo over replacing a carpet.
its been fixed 4 or 5 times. Last summer they were meant to replace the entire roof but never did.
Im moving out in coming weeks and as maddogg said, I dont want to be hit with being blamed or expected to pay for something which is a result of them not fixing a problem theyve known about for years.
ah the main building it sound, the extension at back i dont even think it on a foundation. But thats neither hear nor there. Im planning on moving out but there's been water damage from the leaks in two of the rooms and I want evidence that its down to the leaky roof which they knew about even before I moved in as after a few wks there i told him I had a leak and they said...'oh is that in the back bedroom?' (which it was) So it was there looong before i moved in.
I need to find out if the damage that has occurred in the house I am living in due to the persistent leak from the flat roof that after 20 months of promises is still not fixed....or if its down to something I have done myself.
Who would be the best person to try and find to help me? A plumber or builder or other trade?
There was an excellent tv programme on I think the History channel last year on the men who built america....rather enlightening to find how links were linked.
I took steps forward in some aspects and steps backwards in others in my life in 2013. 2014 is not about proclaiming massive changes for me but about reclaiming and learning to enjoy the things I used to once again.
it is indeed. I got 20 questions in the kitchen from his gf. Was weird.
Knew I would find today hard to had someone to go out with tonight but alas theyve suffered a bereavement. I cancelled two friends who asked me out and theyve already left for where they wanted me to go and my failsafe always up for it best friend picked up her ex at airport this morning for a few days of rampant adult activities.
Just spent this afternoon in the company of my sons father who neither of us have seen in over 4 and a half yrs. Yes he was as charming as ever in person and the visit went well but Im feeling like i want to get well and truly sozzled drunk tonight.
Got talking to an eldery man on the bus today and he was saying that he was going to his son's for christmas dinner. Then he said...... "That wife of his is a tight bit of gear"
Eh....what does that mean?....cos i hope it doesnt mean what i think he meant!!!!
I dont fall in love easily so if i were to then there would have to be those other things in play.....compatibility, chemistry, friendship, mutual respect and having similar outlooks.
I had many offers of relationships from guys with serious cash but i just couldnt nor wouldnt. Money blinds me. I can only see me having none, them having lots and a feeling of being 'bought' therefore I dont even look further than that.
I get for my mother, father, son, sister and very small things for my 10 nieces and nephews (sweets tubes in Aldi for 1.49) I'm making ceramic decorations in the school which we are selling to fundraise but will make some for my friends and my sons fathers side of the family as gifts. Simples!
Just bought the one and only present my son is getting this year. Its first year he's actually asked for something and although its more than i normally spend, its going to work out well for the future....will buy games/controllers etc for bdays etc. Went in shop when empty(passed it few times yesterday and it was packed) and toldthem i knew nothing about anything and had never played a games console in my life.....think i must have amused them cos i got a brand new game only out thrown in along with the rest of the package. Woohoo
Last year I bought my son a camera I got for half price at €60 along with a few bits and bobs. Not spending more than €100 on him. This year he wants something more expensive and Im going to get it for him but he knows that is all he will get from me other than some small things at a few euro each. I make things for people too and buy only for 4 or 5 people. Everyone knows i dont have much money so dont expect me to buy things either. Im making ceramic decorations with the kids in my sons school to sell at the xmas concert in a few weeks time so thats what people will be getting....personalised decorations. I'll give my time and effort twenty times over before I will get myself into debt.
Was too busy coming up with fabulous ideas of raise money for my son's school extension to be on here.
Trust me to join the parents association in the year the most money ever is needed and my son is finished there in June. Had a great idea but they thought last night that we should run next xmas...til i said...i wont be on the committee next year and I'd take the idea with me to....hehehe.....
Who do I need?
