RE: Eastenders CS style

dont watch them, never really did either.

RE: Help!!

can i just say...pick your destination wisely.
That time is just after the exams finish and depending on where you go you could be surrounded by 17-19yr olds all on their first holiday alone. wow

RE: Help!!

ooops.....didnt see the word.....flights in your original post. doh

RE: Help!!

Carlingford seems to be a big destination for hens and stags.
Offers numerous very good restaurants and bars all within falling walking distance of each other. Plenty of activites and since there is usually a few other stag/hen parties about the vibe is festive.
Its easy to get to and an hour from the airport.
Only thing you cant guarantee is the weather. Then again can that is guaranteed anywhere in the country?

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

Have you ever smelt Chanel Platinum for Men?
That does strang things to me. blushing

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

I dont start polls too often so cant say Ive noticed.

So that means you are able to go with my new tangent for the thread and tell me the best value for you money you ever got for €30 or if youd €30 in your pocket now, what would you spend it on?
grin

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

I mean I will smile now.....(my grumpy ranting mood from earlier has dissipated, It never stays for long)

But heck..I want specifics.....

RE: All Maybe Not Quiet As It Seems. . ..

Ive used it a few times when I thought the photo looked a little too polished. And true enough I've found photos of footballers in kitchens and Australian actors with surfboards. laugh

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

so you wont tell me what you'd spend that €30 in your pocket on??
grin ah go on....go on...will ya.....i'll be extra nice to you and grin and everything.

The €30 I have in my pocket is going on a t-shirt or some such over-priced merchandise at the O2 on saturday.

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

Anyone else feel like hijack hijack hijack hijack hijack hijacking this thread and making it about something else?

Like.....whats the best thing you ever bought for €30?
or
If you had €30 in your pocket now....what would you spend it on?

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

Its nice to have to get up for work.
Ive enjoyed it these past 5 months and will enjoy the next 4 weeks til my contract is over.

Its also nice to have other things to get up in the morning for. Even if its only a walk down the street or along the beack or even being able to stand in the shower for ages without having to rush to catch the bus.

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

I would get out of bed for it....
although I get out of bed every day for a hell of a lot less.
If I dont get out of bed the dog doesnt get walked, the child mightn't get fed and the housework would just pile up.
Money is not a factor for me getting up in the morning. Life is.

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

These threads have gotten petty.
A concept which is, I believe, plan to see to the vast majority of people in these forums.

Take a step back....all of you embroiled in this debacle and ask yourself....is it really the best use of my time? If no...then stop.
If yes....then ask yourself why you are so fixated on trying to get the last word.

RE: Would you work for 30euro per hour

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes and in the past week or two that has become even more evident.

Intelligent debate is one thing.
People can get passionate about their viewpoints.
However when it escalates to into the petty, then the intelligent bit is lost and it can becoming cyberbullying.

Cyber Bullying is something schools and teenagers across the country are trying very hard to stamp out. Maybe its a case of the adults learning from the children now.

RE: Forum Dating..

I've met two from here.....one was platonic.....the other not so much so.
Two nice fellas in their own ways.

Would I date someone from here......who knows.

laugh

RE: Social Classes?

Precariat

This is the poorest and most deprived class group. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

Tend to mix socially with people like themselves
Come from a working class background
Rent their home - over 80%

oops....have to disagree with the who I mix socially with. None of my friends are in the same social bracket as me and being that my mother was a teacher and my father a business owner....i didnt come from a traditional working class background.
But it is true.....I dont have a penny to my name.

Txt speak

will you?? thanks....i'll get right on it.

Txt speak

I loath text speak with a passion.
Its not just a teenage thing either. Ive a friend in his 50s who uses it and if i am honest i have to read it 4-5 times to be sure Ive read it right or i dont read it at all.
Seriously how much actual time is saved by using it in a text to someone? 10, 20 or 30 seconds? jeez, do you not have that to spare??

RE: anyone going to the pub tonight....?

Yep heading to the pub later.
Its won the best gastro pub food in louth for past 3 years so thats where I am taking my friend for tea. Good food, good company all while sitting in front of an open fire in a place with a great vibe. Heck I might even have a drink too while I am there.

RE: i might have a few beers later

pedro this is an internet forum......and you posted a thread viewable by the public.
You put up your thread and as such, have some responsibility for the fact you might get a response you dont like said public internet forum.

The internet is not private and as such you are putting your opinions (in this case your drinking habits) into the public domain.

RE: i might have a few beers later

RE: i might have a few beers later

and we choose to say that are opinions are regarding the fact you post numerous threads on your drinking habits.

Why do you feel the NEED to post so many threads on a topic which you say has no impact on your life or is not a reflection of you as a person?

If you say this is only 10% of who you are......whats the other 90% made up of????

RE: i might have a few beers later

tell me this......has your drinking ever impacted on the lives of others????

And you cant answer no to that Pedro if you tell the truth.

RE: i might have a few beers later

if you dont want people to speculate on your drinking wouldnt it be the sensible thing to not post it on a forum for people to comment on it????
confused
All it is doing is feeding your need for attention.

And yes...I know you will ban me from this thread like you have your other ones even though many, many others have said the same as me or indeed have had stronger opinions than mine.

RE: hanky panky

a few places/times that definitely arent for posting when ive a pic up!!! hole

RE: Travel broadens the mind.

once it was only your mind that was broadened.

I've always loved Norway.
I'm defintely going to do the train ride between Oslo and Bergen some day and maybe a Nordic cruise while I am at it.

I''ve been a fan of this band since they first appeared 15+ years ago.
Most people will recognise the singer from a song he did with Santana called Smooth.
