Summer........Norway....its hot and sunny Feb/winter....Norway....breathtaking scenery and loads of fun in the snow. Autumn........Norway(again)....fishing on the Fjords in pitch dark.
Gs....it does work. But Ive started baking the ham from uncooked and not pre-boiling it. Works out so much moister. Then my usual honey and mustard(and few secret ingredients) glaze for last half hour.
Ive only met 2 of the people who say they will go before. So dont worry. Ive never been to a meet before from here either but would be very much looking forward to meeting everybody.
I like contrast. Tracksuit one day.....nice pair of jeans and a tight t-shirt another day.....nice shirt next and so on. Im not usually attracted to men in suits though. But its nice to see someone who normally is casual, dress up when needed.
ah now thems fighting words....lol Surely you can enjoy more than one type of night out? Methinks you are throwing that in cos you would feel a little intimidated by all the strong minded women who might be there and you can now say its not your 'type' of night.
I tend to try and meet people with an open mind as to what they are like regardless of what their posts have been. But I would actually like to meet Fast.....he'd either be a barrel of laughs or barely speak.
I have to say I dont know too many of them either. Last time I was in BFTB I was still at school and all the girls of my repeat LC class used to skip school one wednesday a month an dhead to dublin for the day and got into it for cocktails.
D2 Ive been in a few times. Oh there'd be a club downstairs for fast too.. It has great smoking area which is suitable even for the non smokers like me.
Fitzsimons has few different levels so am sure there'd be one of them that would suit.
Hogans been to a few times too.....but can be very packed.
cafe en seine.....once about 5 yrs ago.
The church Ive never been in but hear its really good.
There's soooo many people on here I would like to meet and have a natter with over a drink. And yes, lots of those people are ones I wouldnt agree with in threads. But it'd be nice to meet the people behind the posts.....whether they make me giggle or my blood boil on here I dont mind.
Ok folks....saturday 24th November I will be in Dublin and would love to meet up with some of my fellow CS-ers.
What'd do ya think?
Throw out a few options of where to go. I know BFTB seems to have been mentioned for other meets. Ive been to one in Fitzsimons on the quay before. Or anywhere else you can think of that might suit. I'm open to suggestions. And will stick up a proper meet thread in next day or two.

I went to one in dublin a year or two ago. Every guy bar one worked in IT. The other guy was a farmer from down the country somewhere. And all the women (except me) looked like they were attending a wedding, dressed to the nines, but looked like if they moved the whole image would be ruined. I'm a bit too easy going for that crap. After the speed dating aspect everyone went to a bar. I snuck out. Wasnt my cup of tea at all. Got notification of 'interest' from a couple but never replied and left the group that arranged them a few days later.
RE: what are the irish known for?
