My brother is a guard and my uncles used to be.....and I was seeing a soldier a few yrs back. SO I see the person not the uniform. I see the day to days lives they have. I see my own brother juggle having young kids and a mortgage and all the same issues and problems everyone else has in their lives. And since my mother was a teacher for 40yrs I also see the thankless task that is too.
Yes we judge people in a instance when we first meet them......but as I said in a comment earlier today.....its up to us whether or not we allow ourselves to open up to changing from those first impressions.
One of my male friends who incidentally used to be a member on here, LOVES that Tiffany song. He shared this gem of information when we were all out new years eve.
Cue now anytime when myself and my friend are out and this one place we sometimes go to, plays really cheesey music, when this song comes on we phone him and sing down the phone to him. (we're classy like that)
Pancakes are our traditional sunday breakfast.....crepes for my son, ordinary scotch pancakes for me....or apple ones.
If I'm having friends to stay its a cheaper way to feed everybody then a fry up. Just stick a big plate in the middle of the table with tops of different toppings available and let them dive in.
Ive never been to portugal, only norway. My best friend from Norway is coming here for 2 weeks in october too so it's shaping up to be a great month indeed.
thankfully its not serious at all....be right as rain in day or two. I'll probably head to bed in half hour or so. Tried to take my dog for a walk there now and she just looked at me, as much to say as 'wtf!!!' and wouldnt move from the sofa. She's like me....she lies her comfort.....
I dont have anything planned for tomorrow other than normal family stuff, so if i stayed up all night or if i only get a few hours kip, then its no biggy.
half thinking I will stay up for while longer.....take the dog for a walk, then head to bed. She'll want walked in a few hrs anyway so probably better doing it now.

Getting my passport photos taken later and going into local station to get them signed although with the affidavit for my sons passport.Passports aint cheap!!!!
