I think maybe you are slightly over optimistic about how much the person selling their kidney gets. Its more like $5000 and then that kidney is bought for $15000....making the middle man a profit of $10,000....so double what the guy actually selling the part of his own body does. Although the going rate is apparently anything from $1k to $10k.......so ever so slightly less than the $50-$100k you think.
As for the original post.....no I dont think people should hold a donor card if they dont want to donate, however I do believe it should be more widely known what can be donated and what cant.
this morning......but every week in general....have a friend staying next week dogsitting for me while Im in dublin for a few days and I washed the sheets on his bed this morning eventhough they were only put on clean for him the last time he stayed to dog sit.
Its the joy of having a washing line....havent had one in 18 months til I moved to the house I am in. Such simple pleasure. Easily pleased I am...........well when it comes to some things.....other not so
I concur. Name calling from anyone (unless in jest amongst good friends) is not necessary. For me its a pet hate along with bad language.
Filly I hope everything goes well for you.
John, sometimes things just dont work out even when we think they will and even if we've put in time and effort. Unfortunately such is life. But good manners and how you conduct yourself when faced with a uncomfortable situation speaks volumes.
I dont think my family would be surprised by anything they found in my house....think Ive done enough for them to not be shocked by anything I would do or have done.
my son has just taken up golf and been joined as a member and its his first juvenile competition tomorrow.....but his clubs are in my parents so have to be up early, collect the clubs etc etc... See...not very exciting....not exactly a long story.....but thought if i said a long story you wouldnt want to hear...lol
I am not a fan of it either.....its just that there still seems to be certain expectations....call it what you will...the to-ing and fro-ing that occurs during the dating game.
Which is why I make sure my son has good quality male role models in his life and out of a list of the 10 harmful things singles mothers do to ruin their sons....I am only occasionally guilty of one of them.
Cant answer a thread with 'always' and 'never' in them.
However much as I dont particularly like them....everyone plays games to a certain extent. Whether it is to delaying in replying to a text.....or not appearing too keen, to not being overly enthusiastic when sleeping with them at first (what a friend of mine said), to not telling someone you like them til they tell you first etc etc etc......its all games.
Little things can be ok....others a tad annoying and some downright murder inducing.
I am probably seriously cautious when it comes to getting myself into a relationship. I have been cheated on and hurt quite badly by the repercussions of that incident. Took me a long time to get over it, but get over it I did.
I suppose being that I have never cheated.....didnt even cross my mind when I had the opportunity either even though the relationship was going through a terrible time.
If I enter a relationship then to me that relationship is worth the time and effort so I cheating doesnt come into it. And if they are worth being faithful to....then I would like to think that I am worth that too.
I tend to go for guys younger than me, the only 2 guys I dated that were older than me...one was cheating and the other was not as separated as he made out!
As to how much younger I would date....it all depends on the person I suppose. They could be 37 going on 15 or 25 and more mature than a 40yr old.
