The majority of it is gone already as far as I know they are still having a few problems in places but Id say it will be fine by Monday morning, one of the biggest problems is all the abandoned cars blocking lanes

Yeah Im fine , it was just a really big pain in the **** taking that long to make a journey that should of only taken 30-40 minutes I had to get my mother to pick me up from the airport because the bus couldn’t get out to Rush (we went via a few of the back roads),I have to say that it could have been worse there where a couple of young children on the bus but they where all good as gold ( after the first two hours I was expecting them to start getting really cranky but it never happened)

So who got caught up in the mess that was Dublin last night ??

(I had to get the bus because there was a landslide on the train tracks )

So who got caught up in the mess that was Dublin last night ?? I my self spent 5 hours on a buss going from the city centre to the airport it had to go threw Ballymun and out the old airport road at one point there was 3 inches of water in the bus !!!

The title should state what the thread is about , if a lot of people are viewing it and not replying then it stands to reason that the content is not of your post is what is at fault , try the international forums the have a much broader section of people

I think most of us are guilty of that on occasion weather intentionally or not , being honest about it I don’t get angry or riled up, it just does not seem worth while investing such powerful emotions in an internet argument , sitting at home in front of my pc im always calm and relaxed

Look at this from his point of view you are saying to him that what’s hurting him doesn’t matter and shouldn’t hurt him ,the day after you say that he goes into school and some one says something that hurts him , he’s back at square one only now he knows he is not supposed to be hurt by it so he feels like even more of a failure , there is no real easy way out , don’t get me wrong there are a few ways out but none of they have that Hollywood style ending

Being honest this opens a whole can of worms for me





Bullies don’t feed on the attention or reaction they feed on the self-assurance they get from accreting their dominance over other’s , ignoring them does no work because it shows weakness/submissiveness particularly if the bully has previously accreted their dominance

There is a difference between expressing their opinions and trying to police other’s




It's not acting it's reacting , from my experience and observations ignoring childhood bullies does not work ,going to teachers/higher power’s does not work , using an overwhelming show of strength does It may not be the ideal way to solve the problem it but we don’t live in an ideal world

A debate by definition is an argument where it descends is when people start making it personal by launching personal attacks rather than attacking the persons argument/point of view

The mod’s don’t seem to care unless some one makes a report , even at that you have to do something that is considered very offensive to make them act which is fair enough , as long as your only expressing an opinion and not making a personal attack the mods seem to err on the side of free speech
