It sounds to me like sooner or later it will get complicated because you are likely to end up sharing everything else, and to be shelterd from the outside world isn't positive either; also what happens if/when you change your mind and want to leave
I don't think this particular environment will be stress free either, as people have a tendency to compete, compare and bicker over stuff, sooner or later; who does what, wht responsibilities you have and how well you live up to them in the eyes of the rest of your community, and, who has the final word or how are decisions made?
Divide the land and have your own individual homes; otherwise it will get very messy; but I have a more important question for you. What is the primary reason to get together in the first place? What makes your group coalesce? I'm not an advocate for any of that to be frank and upfront because I am very much an independent free thinking type, but I am curious.
