don't worry, you're not alone

me too

i spent much of my life in a career that required me to wear makeup all the time

never be seen without it and often it was stage make-up- which is a hassle and just feels icky

no matter how amazing it 'improved' my looks -gosh it became such a job


i havent worn foundation in years

i rarely do much to my hair

i keep my teeth nice and my skin well


i am extremely happy and successful in my work-

and do not miss that old life one bit


i also dont have any shoes with heels more than 3 inch and wear those maybe once a year

thyat is in part due to dating short men and in part due to why wear heeels?

i suggest if he is serious have him start paying the fees

i paid thousands over a number of years and in the end...

no legal standing in 'my new country' and back single in my original country


after selling all my belongings and moving to a new town
preparing for departure-

however
-no regrets

ive started taking sculpting lessons which i find very relaxing and as far as repurposing goes-

it has become a passion

i took a broken crib and strung my blueberries on it as a trellis outside in the garden

i try to use things or make sure they are passed along and not binned

i have become an avid hobbysit with re-purposing things

i have a pile of clay on a sculptors pedestal in one corner of my room and a big old door- the kind with all windows? standing against a wall-
im making it art for a headboard. gluing things to it and painting it and whatnot

indeed- keeps me busy
