There certainly are some people that I dislike. But I'm like the most of the inhabitants of these fora and there are some, you included, that I'm very fond of. Perhaps, my posts don't reflect it. I blame language barrier :)
Love is a feeling. Your feeling. Whom are you going to fight for your feeling?
This forum is rather old one, which gives me lilberty to assume that one or other participant here has already lost someone very significant. Parents most probable, a class mate, a sibling, a cat or two... Death per se doesn't cancel love, see? You still can feel the warmth that those people (or animals) induced in you, when they were alive.
Once I had a cat. I loved him. He died. I cannot have another cat. I don't want a cat I cannot love. Once I loved a man. He died.
Fighting for a relationship is quite different matter. I did it twice. Lost both times. Not going to do it again. Am I not good enough as am? The exit it there --->
Thanks, but I don't want to know where this rat goes, I think that everybody, a rat as well, has right to privacy. As long as this rodent keeps away from my back door, I content :)
Bought cayenpepper and sprinkled between boards over the place I think it has its nest. Saw it run out. Dunno though, whether it was annoyed by pepper or the activity above its head in general or that was just a co-incidence.
Well... as pain-killer or an epilepsy drug, why not. But please, dear pot defenders, pay attention that it will be in pill form and quite possible on prescription. What seems to be the progressive liberals fighting against establishment will result in Big Pharma increasing its profit.
Perhaps, it's time buy some more of their shares.
As an aid to deal with everyday life... A drug is a drug still. If only pro-cannabis brigade spent as much time promoting healthy life style.
We seldom have sun here. This summer was exclusively sunny, but now it's autumn and dark. A solar powered anything will run out of power the very first day :)
I don't have a cat. Nonetheless, all cats hunt mice and small birds, but not every cat would challenge a rat. My neighbours' cat visit now and then, but it doesn't change the situation.
Thanks for advise, I've checked and there's a trap that is activated before the rodent would rich the bait. Yes, man is smarter than rat. Or than dog, for that matter :)
I am wondering though, why peope keep comparing themselves with rats? Are humans and rats assumed to be equals?
Need practical advice - how to get rid of a rat?
Well...Many on here have Eglish as fouth or fifth. For me it's only the third.
How's your Gaelic?
