Humanitarian help needed

Thank you, kind soul. Do you mean Settings on this site? I haven't found there anything like that. Or do you mean Settings on my computer?

Humanitarian help needed

I've moved to a new computer and it turned out that there's no spell checking installed. I know that in order to get it, you have to upload a dictionary from the net - I did it once, but I don't remember how I got there. Sure, you can live without spell checking, but I would like to have that function nonetheless.

Please?

RE: Which is your favourite?

Oh, do you provide roses as well? You are an angel :)

RE: Which is your favourite?

A coppar kettle needs constant maintaining if you want it to remain bright: too much bother if you ask me.

Mittens... very practical and indeed necessary in our climat, but I already have a few pair.

Wiskers come with a kitten and I love cats. But, as things are now, can't have one, to my enormous regrett.

So raindrops are the natural choice for me - Apres l'ondee feeling and no other practical purpose that to keep me in day-dreaming mode :)

RE: Fox News

'mericans have woken up. Time to leave the field.

RE: Fox News

Well...2007 is rather old news. But even then UK wasn't on the first place. Plus rebate :)

RE: Fox News

Looks like UK was the third after Germany and France anno 2016. Don't know how much it'd be per capita though.

There's some report some time ago about contribution of foreign workers in UK to the UK economy vs residents's contribution. Worth checking.

RE: Fox News

I think Baltic countries got some benefits. Né?

RE: Fox News

Once upon a time I lived in the country-side and one summer we got a visiting fox kid. I started to feed it and took some photos. Out of the lack of imagination I called it Foxie (I started to learn English then). It's only Fox I ever knew and during our brief acquaintanceship it never mentioned Boris Johnson either. Coincidence? :)

To sum it up: yes, people hear only what they want to hear and those, who own mass-media, own the world. That's scaring, itsn't it? Are you sure you want to hear that?

RE: Fox News

Well... congratulations to Britain, then :)

RE: Fox News

For a couple of years ago I stopped reading Swedish news papers (propaganda in its purest form, worst than Soviet times Pravda) and switched to the Guardian.

While it's also a propaganda machine, its bullets are not aimed at me, so I can see the trajectories.

Then they allow comments and comments there are, for the most, at very high level both in terms of the language and the content.

Then, as I don't have any connections to UK, I can absorb news without getting emotionally involved and remaining open for different opinion.

Then they haven't established a pay-wall yet, so I get the whole package free. Double sweetness :)

RE: Fox News

Forget the brown cows: 51.9 % of adult Brits believed in what Boris Johnson was saying about EU. Its 17.4 million. True fact:

RE: Why are you not in a relationship?

My flat is too small, that’s why.

It’s so small I have to keep my rowing machine between window and the bed. And it’s the side there my previous relationship was boarding the bed. And after the initial high-octane feelings burned off, he said me either him or the erg. It came so suddenly, just out of the blue, I was unprepared and couldn’t contain laugh. He got sour and left.

But srsly, guys, why oh why, did he put himself in such a disadvantageous position?

So I’m not in a relationship. Still laughing though :)

RE: Germany

Merkel didn't play. If she did, they would win.

RE: Who Am I ?

My nail polish will be dry then. Not that it mattered even before that.

RE: Who Am I ?

Oh, those two with no life, I see... And what's the possible point with this thread?

RE: Who Am I ?

Well... what's he's known for (to make things easier)?

RE: Who Am I ?

119 from the left?

RE: If Earth Had No Water

It will fix itself as soon as you stop reproducing.

RE: Who Am I ?

Who's Raphael?

RE: This site is amazing and great, THE BEST !

You forgot to mention paid trolls.

RE: If you could re-engineer the human body, what would you change?

Well... I don't like reptiles myself, but happy to inform you that Daenerys Targaryen lives farther down the road.

RE: If you could re-engineer the human body, what would you change?

Terribly flattering. How big henhouse should I rent for you?

RE: If you could re-engineer the human body, what would you change?

Where to?

RE: If you could re-engineer the human body, what would you change?

I thought I was alone with such a radical idea :)

RE: If you could re-engineer the human body, what would you change?

I would give him some brain. Or is this thread about the physical properties only?

RE: How many women are seeking a man to relocate to their area

Would relocate in a heart beat to Costa Blanca, if I could get a job there with at least the same salary as here. Otherwise, there's no point.

RE: Instant noodles

It's fast carbs, hence everyone likes it. 'cause our brain is a junkie's brain. So your question kinda irrelevant. Another angle is whether one eats everything junkie's brain wants.

RE: if you could ??????

Well... it's really depends...

On every given Monday I'd like to be a spitting cobra.

But on any other day and especially while on sea shore, I'd like to be a dolphin - jump into water and never look back.

RE: Does Europe have the answer?

Thought about it for a while and landed on the answer that it just might.

One of my acquaintances went to USA for 6 months (to look after a sick relative) and during that time gained 8 kg. Upon returning to Sweden and her usual "European" life style, she lost the excess weight in following 6 months without any extra effort.

Who knows, perhaps a change in life style might help against burping as well? (Don't go for British life style though, they are as fat as Americans.)
