In the faded light You touch my body I can feel your hands On my skin Think you've got me right Where you want me But you're just in my way
I came to party on my own Don't need nobody in my song I get down to the beat I lose control
Yeah, oh, I go So-solo
Boy, you can cool it down Not here to fool around Just wanna dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance I know you want me But I don't care, baby Just wanna dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance
In the shade of night You're moving closer We're on our way to cross the line Think you got me right Where you want me But it's all in your mind
The path of least resistance and least trouble is a mental rut already made. It requires troublesome work to undertake the alternation of old beliefs. Self-conceit often regards it as a sign of weakness to admit that a belief to which we have once committed ourselves is wrong. We get so identified with an idea that it is literally a “pet” notion and we rise to its defense and stop our eyes and ears to anything different.
I'd rather try than sit back if that makes sense? The phrase that comes to mind is once bitten, twice shy.
It would if being very easy for me to "flip" at that point. There are certain things I have an intolerance for. But I am grateful that you and a few other people said something. Often people do not, leaving the person feeling bewildered to what happen and the logic behind it.
Which is why I often think of that quote. I won't recall what was said or done. But I will certainly remember how it made me feel. Followed by how other people made me feel.
Very true, I can say this too. It also reminds me to be careful with my words to others. Because sometimes we don't consider how we say things and how it can impact others. So when I am upset or angry. That's when I need to becareful of how my words make another person feel.
Thank you for your few but funny words the other day.
They know, they're the people that remove resources. The staff lose moral and all social conscience. It becomes just a job, a means to an end. Because they're told that's how it is going to be.
The amount of funding has being reduced so much that people cannot cope with the demand and supply. Making it so Joe Public has to do so much more, fight hard and for long periods of time.
They rely on ignorance is bliss, the common response is talk to your MP. I have several times. I never seen him bring up once in a parliamentry debate anything I have said or push for change for the general public.
Some of us are not blinded by politics. It's about money and power. I have more of a conscience about what I do for living, yet realistically in the grand scheme of things it doesn't seem to matter. It isn't incompetence, they know what they're doing. It's a conscious decision made by people who will never know the reality impacts.
I did what needed to be done. It's all very well talking about it. But you've heard the saying talk is cheap. Sadly, that's true.
RE: What position do you sleep in?
I don't know I'm asleep. I also talk and walk in my sleep. I don't know what I do then either.
