It keeps changing. This is regarding state pension? If not, as soon as you can afford to. If it is state pension. It keeps changing to accomodate a population that is living longer. What it isn't considering is that if you can't retire at 60. The chances are you'll be retired due to ill health and end up on other benefits anyway.
Not being funny either I started working at 14. I'm tired now By the time I can retire I will have put in 50 years. Yet, there are plenty of people that have barely worked at all but still will be entitled to the same. I am not speaking of those that cannot either.
Please stick to 60... I was fine with that and hope I can still have a quality of life to enjoy. Then if people choose to work after it is a choice not a requirement.
WoW your bloody busy that's for sure but it's also exciting I can't wait to see before ,& after pics[/quote
Ha! Yeah. I'm crashing early for it and waking up at silly o clock. I'll send the pics. Just I have a feeling it's going to take longer than I would like.
But it's just a part of a bigger project on my house. I did my bedroom last week. Her room is next, then the lounge followed by the garden. Which I mostly gutted last year by ripping out 5 connifer trees. Maybe by next year it will be all done and it will be just be maintainence.
I have had no kitchen since Saturday as new boiler was to be installed. All the units had to be ripped out for the pipe work. So I am painting walls, tiling and floor goes down on Friday. New units Saturday, Monday cooker and worktops. Then if I am a really good girl I may get my sink back with the washing machine and dryer working. Then the doors to the units and shelves.
This is of course when Bosch come out Friday to fix the pressure issue on the boiler. I'll send you before and after pics after I finally complete.
The tories needed the majorty in the house. To get that they made an agreement with DUP . Simple as that.
This is no different to me than the bail out packages the banks can obtain.
But this has nothing to do with your own feelings on property reposession.
Perhaps ask the tories why the sold off all the council houses and did not reinvest in further property. Making the private landlords and associations a fortune at prices they charge for people who can barely afford them. Increasing the demand on housing benefit.
RE: Current Thoughts (Cont)~~
There are some people that just simply make me smile when I read them.
