Well, if he is 60 and she is 40, 20 years difference won't be a problem, but what if he's 36 and she is 16? I always have good conversations with people who are older or younger than me, but with people of about my age it often is difficult. But I wouldn't date a much younger or older woman. The differences in taste, especially music, opinions etc. would be a problem I guess.
Well, I was 10 when How you gonna see me now was a hit, and that did it for me. Now I'm 40 years older and still a big fan. From the inside, Goes to hell, Dada (which he didn't remember composing, recording or touring with at all because he was drunk all the time), Hey Stooped, Brutal planet and Welcome to (and two) my nightmare, are my favourite a.c. albums. First saw him live in 1990, touring and promoting Hey stooped.
I do watch, mostly news, and then switch to yhe youtube channel, watching old western tv series and -movies. Not much adverbs, most you can click away in a few seconds and you can watch anytime you like.
Annihilator has several songs you might like, Never neverland, Phoenix rising etc. Not really trashmetal, allthough the middlesection of Never neverland is kinda rough.
At least it is medolic, and not like deathmetal, where you can't hear what they're singing, there ain't no melody, and often even the name of the band is hard to read.
I am actually an Alice Cooper fan, but trash and speedmetal are often very good in my opinion. Luckily everyone got it's own.
Well, I've built my whole carreer around the area where I live, created my own bussiness, have my own company, standing in the middle of the community. Leaving all behind, starting from the bottom, while you won't be sure the relationship will lost, that would be stupid. I would ask her to have patience, meet each other regularly, spend the holidays together, I'm working in schools and dutch schools has at least 12 weeks holiday, so we would have much time together, and in 15-17 years I will be retired. If it is real love, she would understand that, and of course she can also look when she has the time to take a day of from her work, spending time with me. After my retirement, I can go live with her, or maybe she is retired sooner than me.
But I also can say: I will start getting connected to schools in her area, see what opportunities there are, and if I can get enough work overthere, I can start living with her during the summerholiday when my pupils have had their exams.
Of course I will finish the year on the schools where I'm teaching now, I'll never let my pupils down. And due to the fact that there are more people in my area doing the same thing, I can let them take over in the next year.
If people run away from their country because of a war, there's nothing wrong with it. But there are many people from countries where life is good, allthough the salaries might be not to great, coming to Europe and the states too, they want more money. And all those countries who are overwhelmed by the migrants can't pay everyone, or give them a good home. Mostly a great group of these people don't even want to work, they want to force us to accept their culture as our own, destroying our own culture. They are selling drugs and show other criminal behaviour. And of course we can't tolerate that, but the police haven't enough people to protect us all against these criminal people.
So there comes a time when a country says: Enough is enough, no more.
Also most fugitives don't want to go home after the war is over: To those I would say: Go home, rebuilt your country, be proud of it.
In the Netherlands there's a big Moroccan population, with grown up children, children who where born in the Netherlands, and they still see Morocco as their homeland. Then why stay here? Only because of the money? When Yugoslavia fell apart a lot of fugitives came to the Netherlands, and we welcomed them. That war lasted 8 years, in '99 everything was getting normal again. But now almost 20 years later still a big group of those fugitives are staying in the Netherlands. We live in a very small country, but the fugititves keeps coming, we have to sent back the ones that can live in peace in their own country, they should give a place to the people who need our help today.
Staying in the Netherlands, because the life here is better than in former Yugoslavia is egoistic. Then you ain't proud about your homeland, actually you don't give a damn.
We also see people from countries in the middleeast coming here, telling their life is at risk in their homeland. And where do they go for a holiday? To their homeland. They're all liars.
Less negative things worldwide and more positive things.
Watching the newschannels all is always so negative, they maybe show 1 positive thing between 20 negative, and mostly the positive thing is the weatherforecast.
I wish there was a newspaper which only brings positive news. No adverbs about who has died, but only who was born, news about people getting healed in the hospital, people who passes their exams etc.

Schatjes. Dutch movie where children are terrorizing their parents, the father is in the army and calls the help from the army. But even the army can't win it.
I never refuse a free beer, and I give away beers to. But don't say here you have a beer, when you're giving me one back? I only give drinks to people I like, but I also accept drinks from people I don't like. And sometimes I give someone a drink and I don't get anything back. Well that's just the way it seems to work...
