In the Netherlands next year the costs on vegetables will rise again. But they wan't to get sugarfree and light drinks to be less expensive. In a healthy diet, sugarfree and light drinks don't belong. The prices in fastfood restaurants won't rise either.
What they should do: Order fastfood restaurants their price for a meal must be the same as an healthy meal in any other restaurant. Make fastfood in the supermarket twice as expensive, and compensate that with lower prices on food that is healthy.
There are several companies who produce veggies that give away their products for free if it doesn't look the way it should look. Like if a banana is straight, the shops can't sell it and they make animalfood out of it or destroy it. Allthough it's good and healthy food, if the shape isn't correctly then it is trash. That is ridiculous.
Also, if you buy a cucumber it's wrpped in plastic. Supermarkets are the companies that are most responsible for the plastic problem on this earth, and it's time to say no to supermarkets if they do these things. If a cucumber is wrapped in plastic, rip the plastic of the cucumber in the supermarket, throw it on the floor and just pay for your cucumber.
We still can create a better future for the next generation, let's start right now.
Come on Britain, you're a proud country, and you had an overwhelming history. Don't let the frauding european government take away your hope for a better future. You've fought worse battles before and you always survived, this one you will get through also. And if they want extra tax on British goods, the British can also get tax on European goods. Still there are more countries in the world, it's not only Britain or the EU, so let the EU rott in hell and start trading with other countries.

Mostly I agree with that, but all these death metal bands that seems to make noise just to make noise, often a melody is hard to find, well that's not my cup of tea.
Bands as Slayer, Saxon, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Dio, Led Zeppelin, Testament, Anthrax en Nuclear Assault are awesome, allthough there is only one Alice Cooper.
Bet I heard it over 10.000 times. Since I first saw the videoclip on television in '78 I knew immediately he would be my hero, and he still is, seen him performing live almost 20 times now. Last year Rolling Stone Magazine voted him as the best solo-artist, I felt very proud for him. He is my God. Also he is one of the most overlooked composers, the radio hardly play his songs and if they do they play something from 20-40 years ago as if he hadn't composed many songs since Poison in '88.
So most people don't know a lot of his songs, thinking he only makes loud music while he has written a ton of Ballads.
Be glad the Brexit will be. The Netherlands and the UK are almost the biggest payers of the EU.
The EU has one currency, the Euro, but people working in the rich countries are earning more an hour than the poor countries. So all poor people coming to the rich countries, getting an unemployedment benefit the rich countries have to pay.
Why not say: You are from that country, that country will pay your unemployedment benefit? Of course the taxes on their salary should also go to the poor countries. Maybe then it will work.
The system was set up in a completely wrong way. If income and prices in stores were equal through Europe would be the same, the system might work.
Still Europe is inviting poor countries to join the EU, the rich countries have to pay for it.
In my country, since we got the Euro in 2002 everything has become 2.5 - 3 times more expensive, but the salaries hasn't risen 250-300% maybe just 15%. So the common man who has a normal salary is feeling it in his wallet. 15% more salary but he can do less with it.
This all because of the wrong decissions of the EU. I hope the Netherlands will follow after the Brexit, because the UK is leaving we will have to pay more to the EU.
Maybe it's time to say: all healthy food is free anywhere, you don't have to buy it you can take just what you need. It's stupid you even have to pay taxes on healthy food. And in stead make unhealthy food, cigarettes and all other unhealthy stuff more expensive.
Everyone deserves a good health.
Also let everyone work for four hours a day maximum, maybe even 6 days a week or maybe you can choose how you do your 24 hours a week. A lot of people are unemployed, with only 4 hours a day you have enough time for your own stuff, and there will be work for everybody.
An American couple is on holiday in Israël when the woman dies. The American talks with an undertaker and he says he wants to get the body of his wife transported to the USA. The undertaker answers that burrying the wife in Israel would cost him only 500 dollar, while the transportation to the us, and the funeral overthere would cost him 10.000 dollars. But the American says he insists that the body of his wife is sent to the USA. I don't understand the undertaker says.
Well, you burried someone about 2000 years ago and after 6 days he came back out of the grave, I don't want to take that risk.
agree on that one. On the other side they should give people more time to have fun. Lot's of people working the whole day (8 hrs), after the work is done, they go home, sometimes are in a traffic jam and lot's of people are travelling more than 1 hour to their home. Arriving at home they have to get the kids from their nanny, make dinner, do shopping, doing some cleaning in the house, doing the dishes and in the evening lot's of people are doing their administration, reading their letters, or are to exhausted from work and watch some television before they go to bed.
So I say, more people has to work, but less hours a day, and for the same salary.
We're no sleves for the rich people and the rich companies.
Well you have poverty and you have poverty. If you live in a country were the chance is mighty big that you can't feed your child, you shouldn't take children. As a parent it is your responsibility.
Year by year we see hungry children from the African continent on television, still the parents doesn't take their responsibility to say: We can't feed it, we can't give it no future, so we can't take children.
It's easy to hold your hand up to the western world, hoping somebody gives you something to eat or to buy food with, actually, that is the most easiest way, taking your responsibility is very difficult.
And most western countries sends milliards to the third world every year, the gouvernments overthere buy weapons, give luxuous parties or hold the money for their own. If you want to solve the problems in Africa, we will have to take the power overthere, send machines for agriculture, cultivate the land, dig canals so there will be water for the farmers and so on.
The corruption in Africa shows that all the help from the western world over the last 30 years hardly helped. Also the criminallity in Africa is high. Like the cheaters from internet who ask you for money, almost all these cheaters are from Africa.
So we are doing as best as we can, but even charity doesn't work properly, cuz the bosses of charity-organisations (and there are many organisations, supposing to help Africa) take a lot of money for their own relief. A salary of 300.000 euro isn't uncommon.
On tv we see the most rich television stars calling that we must help those countries in need, while they get a lot of money for presenting it and they hardly give anything. Bono Vox of U2 is a good example, always crying that we must help Africa, while he has very much money. It's the people that get minimum wage that are paying.
As I told earlier in a thread, 1% of the population on this earth ownes 99% of the money. So 99% of the population has only 1%. It's time the rich decide that they only need 40% of the money, and the rest of the world gets 20%.
After all, what fun is it having so much that you hardly know what to do with your money, you can't take it with you in the grave.
Maybe it would be an idea to see how much every person in this world needs for a comfortable, but not rich, life, and give everyone the share he needs. What's left can be used for infrastructure, agriculture and so on.
Why buy a suit of 1000 dollar if a suit of 100 dollar looks almost the same and fits as well. Why buy a rolex of 15000 dollar while you can see the time on a watch of 5 dollar? I don't understand mankind I guess, but even if I were a multimillionair, I wouldn't wear way to expensive suits, watches etc.
You can go eat outdoors for 100 dollars and you can go eat outdoors for 10 dollars. Mostly the people that pay 100 dollars are hungry, cuz their food was tasty, but it wasn't very much, and then they go to the McDonalds afterwards.

well, they keep telling me that starch is bad for your health, so I quit Pasta, rice and potatoes and decided to eat meat only for diner. I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years, til 2009. Now I'm a total carnivore.
By the way, did you knew that rice is containing arsenicum? So if you eat rice everyday you are polluting your own body. The European Union has taken precautions, so in the E.U. there's less chance to get polluted, but all those other countries... brrr.
Never heard of the guy, and with an age of 96 he has nothing to complain about. Lot's of people working harder for less salary don't even get old enough to earn their monthly pensioncheque.
