In the Netherlands next year the costs on vegetables will rise again.
But they wan't to get sugarfree and light drinks to be less expensive. In a healthy diet, sugarfree and light drinks don't belong.
The prices in fastfood restaurants won't rise either.

What they should do: Order fastfood restaurants their price for a meal must be the same as an healthy meal in any other restaurant.
Make fastfood in the supermarket twice as expensive, and compensate that with lower prices on food that is healthy.

There are several companies who produce veggies that give away their products for free if it doesn't look the way it should look. Like if a banana is straight, the shops can't sell it and they make animalfood out of it or destroy it. Allthough it's good and healthy food, if the shape isn't correctly then it is trash. That is ridiculous.


Also, if you buy a cucumber it's wrpped in plastic. Supermarkets are the companies that are most responsible for the plastic problem on this earth, and it's time to say no to supermarkets if they do these things. If a cucumber is wrapped in plastic, rip the plastic of the cucumber in the supermarket, throw it on the floor and just pay for your cucumber.

We still can create a better future for the next generation, let's start right now.

Yes, in the supermarket, they will have to clean it. Maybe then they begin to understand.

But.. I don't throw things on the floor regardless who's got to clean it.

By the way I sometimes buy paprika's and often 3 paprika's in plastic is way cheaper than 3 paprika's seperately. But often it appears one of the three paprika's is already rotting.

I had a pupil in chesslessons, he was very gifted and was allowed to go to high school on his tenth this year. His parents didn't want this for him, and now they are travelling through the west of Europe cleaning up beaches etc. to make people aware. For I know they are still in scandinavia, next will be the UK and Ireland.
They are on facebook under the name Weseawaste.

Maybe it would be nice if people from the UK and Ireland await them in their camper and help them as much as possible.

The kids are on the international school by internet, so don't worry, they will learn a lot more than when they go to highschool themselves.

I don't think that the supermarkets are entirely responsible but...the ones above them who give the orders!


Instead of throwing the wrappings on the floor...
Why not saving them all up...put them in a container...and dump it all in the manager's office?

It would certainly be more beneficial than cleaners having to clean the floor..


What about PLASTIC BOTTLES?
They should be eliminated completly.

Here people...most people...end up throwing them in the street..or...on the beach.
