Argh... ok one last post only from me on the ACTUAL topic...
I worry more about my sister and her daughter and my brother and his wife being shot then I do ANY of my other family members. The reason? They own firearms.
I have family that live in big cities that have a lot of gang activity, I have family that live in rural areas where there are shootings monthly, I have family that live in areas where there are only accidental shootings sometimes.
Still the ones I worry about suffering gun shot wounds or worse are the ones who own firearms in their homes. Why? because in my experience and through my life of living in various cities of all kinds and even being an armed patrolman and actually having had to draw my weapon on duty, the only time anyone I have known has been shot by a gun was from guns that were owned and on the premises, accidental discharge, accidental riccochett, or careless use.
I will never own my own gun, and I discourage my kids from owning one. However, I do like knowing that, should I ever feel I need to own one for any reason, I am able to go and buy one, be it for hunting or for defending my family should there ever be cause to do so. Do I think everyone should feel the same way I do? Nope I don't. Do I think anyone that disagrees with me is wrong? Nope I don't. It is something that to me will always remain an individual choice because unless all firearms are utterly destroyed and never remade, there is no way to stop them from being used in crimes.
I should also note I flat out do not care what anyone says any statistic is on the matter because the only statistics I believe are the ones I have measured first hand with my own life experience and seen with my own eyes, period.
There is my input and I am not posting it for debate because it is merely my personal feelings and belief. As I said agree or disagree it matters not at all to me, it is an individual choice I make and stand behind and I also stand behind others making their own choice on the matter.
The government here in America will not be able to ban legal ownership of firearms by citizens, it is pointless to even speculate the idea. Lobbyist and special interest groups for gun manufacturers and ammunition's makers as well as millions of citizens will simply not allow it to happen, at least within my lifetime for certain, likely not within my grand daughters lifetime either.
I'm done, sorry if the above feels rantish, it isn't meant to be, but some of the comments being made by folks have hurt quite a bit really...
Yeah I am logging out now. Anyone... and I do mean anyone American or otherwise, that thinks the common American citizen can actually change how the American government works by "votes alone" needs a wake up call that America is NOT a democracy and is BARELY even run by political individuals who would find themselves very discredited if they did not follow the orders they get. America will not be changed without American bloodshed and I for one just try to do the best I can to live where I was born with as much respect as I can for those who give their lives for me to have a safe place to live and raise children. Police, firemen, military, and everyday folks who go out of their way risking and giving their lives to help others when things are bad.
Am I proud to be an American, sometimes, am I ashamed to be an American, yup sometimes. Would it be ANY different in ANY other country for me, Nope not a bit. I am proud to be a respectful, compassionate, humane being, and those can be found ANYWHERE in the world. For crying out loud I didn't start the Government I was born under, I didn't make it what it became, I do the best I can to try and make it one I could be proud of in every way I can. It is ALL I can do.
LOL I wasn't even close to flirting... was I? but you can bet if anyone took my jests serious and mailed me I would set the record straight right quick! Good on ya to keep the eyes open try to paint that line a little straighter walking it as you paint it makes me feel drunk for crying out loud...
I always see the truth of myself in the mirror. Good and bad, as for products... lets find out the truth in marketing... I already know way to much about that to even consider wanting to know more then I do. *shudder*
Well have you been intimate in that three weeks? If so I would say it would be advisable to close the door and consider it three weeks of enjoyable time spent but look for something more your style. The reason is that if she has been intimate with you in that time of "dating" odds are she would be so with another person while seeing you and that is something I personally would not tolerate nor do myself. Of course your actions are up to you...
If she has not been intimate with you then perhaps allowing some space and time to consider things for her and for you is not a terrible idea but be prepared to deal with things if she finds another person better suited to her then you etc.
Not to mention that all the scammer profiles would have "I am here to get your money only" on them as would their emails etc... sheesh we would no longer wonder such things... how dull it would be...
I am no different here then I am in person and post my honest thoughts etc and I have had extremely positive results without even expecting any at all, so I would have to say that honesty is still the best policy in my book.
Thanks... and it will... but change fleas into flesh eating fire ants and have them placed on the guys groin...make sure they eat SLOOOOOWWWWLLLLLLYYYYYYY and can not be removed!!!!!!!!!!!
Your song is that of a pounding heart, the wind in the trees, the birds outside, and the whispers exchanged between to minds that are soaring above every cloud...
