Chatting with some younger people at work the other day and I was astonished to hear that they still get the 'So, when are you planning to settle down and have children?' thing from older people
I only saw this mentioned on a tv program by Western women who were successful in their field
I found it patronising as I've never had any doubt about my strengths, skills and talents as a woman, as well as those who surround me, hence don't require a special day to applaud my gender.
It should be aimed at women in impoverished countries who work far harder than us and have no voice or celebrity.
