I had 7 good years there, but am fighting like mad to get the tax retention back on my house that I sold. Most of the people that I know are now moving back to the U.K. but are stuck in a poverty trap, due to the crash in the housing market.
Have to say I have no regrets whatsover about coming home.
I think that Boban is right in some respects.The friendships we make as young people do vary from the ones we make as adults.
Having said that I have friends that I have been in touch with for 65 years! A true friend should not judge you but accept you warts and all,be there for you and respect that you may not always agree,but will always be there for each other whenever possible.j.m.o.
