Being friends is a great thing ,but then so is being in love. I'm puzzled why you have a magnetic pull towards her,yet you state you are not in love with her.

Sometimes we can be in love with the idea of being in love,and ,in my opinion, if you open up to her, then you have to be TOTALLY honest with her about your feelings.

As for damaging the friendship,this is the price you might have to pay,but saying nothing is not an option.It's what you say that has the importance,and being able to accept a rebuff should she reject you.j.m.o.

It is the right thing to do,and I am sure from what I have seen in your threads no pressure on the guy.

Too many people have too little time for others these days.No wonder the world is in such disarray.

You will be blessed for your kindness rest assured.

It was my daughter's birthday yesterday and on her way back home from a restaurant with her husband she met some homeles people, and took them all for a drink in the local pub. I love her so much for her generous spirit.

Gosh lots of history lessons going on in this thread. Personally I cannot see the point of making comparisons,and I don't ever envisage the day that our country turns on it's sovereignty. For the first time in years this country has a good rapport with the Royal family due to the entrance of commoners into their ranks.

Weddings seem to make for a happy nation,politics aside that is.

To some he was seen as a puritan zealot, but to the majority he was considered a hero who freed them from Royalist control.

Whatever one's opinion of him he was a great part of the reformation of this country to the better good.

You are joking I hope. Nothing you have in your country makes me jealous.We are all different in rational thought that's all. What works for one person ,doesn't necessarily have to suit another,that's logic not jealousy. I don't throw toys out of the pram any more I'm an adult.

We will have to agree to disagree here I'm afraid. The human will always have an excuse for hunting i.e. feeding the hungry and less fortunate. Reminds me of why they stopped safari hunting .The slaughter of a species in so many cases.
