The stories are just gut-wrenching. Can you imagine what it's like to hear your family members dying slowly, and you can't save them because they're trapped under the rubble?

I hate to be contentious (haha) but I believe that men who need to dominate women (or anybody, for that matter) must be insecure in themselves. Why would anyone want a subservient partner? How boring!
People are going to lie in the sun wether it's good for them or not. So you may as well advise them on how best to protect themselves. A brown skin is today a sign of status, ie, you have enough money and leisure time to lie in the sun. A tan skin color has been made appealling by Hollywood. Funny that in centuries past, having a white skin, untouched by the sun, was the sign of nobility.
