I know more than 3 people who hate me. They are people I worked with in the past from a different department and they've done many things in trying to hurt me; such as rumors and gossip. One told me to my face how much his staff hates me and another professional told a mutual associate how much he hated. The associate told me to watchout for this guy. My problem was I expected everyone to love and respect me. You can't be friendly with everyone because there will always be someone out to hurt you if you are a public figure. Especially if they are jealous of your good luck or accomplisments. It's sad but I've learned not to trust.
I had the same thing when I was writing a few months ago. I found out my computer was corrupt with viruses, trojans and worms. A good spyware protection disk should clear it up.
I take it that most of us have some Christian education. There was no harm in it, and to an extent, it gave us faith that we may otherwise never have.. I really can't condemn religion because I think it's very important in keeping morals and ethics. One must look at oneself and grow within. Talking about the scriptures is often a mask to hide ones' nonreligious intent. It takes a lifetime to study the scriptures and grow within. For me, the real test of religious belief is to help the poor and disadvantaged. Hold the hand of the dying and see the beauty of God in the the eyes and response to caring, in your arms caress a new born and feel the love of God and the promise of a furture generation. Go in peace and work on ones' spiritual self without malice in your heart. Away from the influence of others, and listen to yourself, then speak with love and compassion. I have not met many religious people who truly share these qualities. It appears many talk the talk but very few walk the walk. The proof is in what you do for yourself and others, not what you say, read or quote.
Instincts work well. If uncertain, then you probably don't have the right connection for a loving relationship. Trust and honesty go hand in hand. Can't have one without the other.
It's usually a quiet Christmas for me. Probably buy a turkey and enjoy having a few days off from work. Having a significant other this time of year would be nice too.
I've expeienced a lot of rejection from family members and some families of those I've dated. Once they learned that they have no control over me, they became silent and respectful, at least to my face ha,ha. The positive side is that there are always certain family members who will be on your side no matter what you do if it makes you happy.
The English language does not define love well because there are so many different feelings for the same word. i.e. the love of a child is different from a parent or pet. It's also different for a sports team or movie. The same goes for loving a brother or sister. Yet we use the same term for defining a stong feeling for a husband or wife. Yet again for a lover, dog or cat. Maybe we need to add something to "love" for greater clearity.
Usually there's a motive, or hidden agenda when someone wants to move in so quickly. I would be cautious about financial, legal and other personal things that aren't brought up. Being lonely and wanting to live with someone is normal but can also be a sign that the individual has limited coping skills and (perhaps) dependent on someone else for their happyness.
In most cases a controling partner also has issues outside the home as well, i.e.unable to establish good friendships outside the family and distrust of other people. This is a sign that there is some kind of emotional pain and usually scape goat others to hide these personal issues. On the other hand, one must admit and work on personal emotional problems in order to establish a mutually satisfying relationship. The problem of denial usually causes great stress for both partners and others. It's best not to be an enabler of dysfunctional relationships and take charge of your own life.
When looking at the ocean I also see the wonders of time. Millions of years before our arrival and millions of years after we're gone... if we don't distroy mother earth.
I got a message on my cell saying she was a secret admirer and she got my number from a friend. How do you respond to an unlisted number? Has this ever happened to you?
I was chatting with a buddy at work and a female buddy walked by and asked him to visit her at home sometime. Obviously they were friends and he said ok; she clearly had a crush on him. After she left he told me he was at her place before and she had a beautiful daughter and that's why he's interested in visiting. Has your date ever make a move on your daughter without you knowing?
No. I never feel lonely at night, I got over that stage a long time ago. I actually look forward at the end of the day to be alone at times. I really don't need someone in my life but would sure like to have a partner to share things with.
OMG! Are we talking church and state, racial issues, or what? In a democracy if we don't like a leader we vote him out in the next election. If one still doesn't like whose elected then one can run for office himself or one can shut the hell up.
There seems to be a missing link in this question. Two people create life, should both be equally responsible for the welfare of the child? Unless the child is virgin born.
