I drink on occassion because I learned it from friends and the environment. But no other drugs. I'm more happy just living in harmony with nature. I enjoy reading about religion because it stimulates my thoughts. But the bottom line is that I have my own morals and ethics.
The brain is complex and an amazing thing. We are not all blessed with a stable mind and intake of chemicals does not help. In some cases chemicals and pollution make matters worse. We have a long way to go in understanding the workings of the mind.
It happens. Just like when we were younger in school and liked someone who was already taken. The same rule applies. There are some things we cannot have.
I took a homeless person out to dinner. It was amazing to hear the story she had to tell. People stared at us but I felt happy sharing the holiday season with someone who has nothing. I do this once a year.
There are dates and then there are DATES. I've been on a few in the past year but it seems the attraction was one-way. I still go out on dinner dates but to find mutual attraction is not easy. Based on what I've seem and heard from others the ratio of attraction to each other maybe 1 in approx. 100. The more you associate and mingle with people in person the greater the chance. The problem is many of us don't have time to scout around and mingle because of work, money, and so on. Also, being too selective in what we want as an ideal mate might be a contributing factor.
As a human being I think experiencing love and pain is part of our makeup. Otherwise we would never learn from our mistakes and become depressed and/or empty spirit.
Smugglers are a pawn for the big shots. The head of these snakes should be put in prison and forced into bankruptcy. The government should take their money and open treatment centres for the rehabilitation of the addicts.
This shows how we all think and act differently. There are some good and bad in most things. I have seen some bad judgements by some professionals and there are also some compassionate people who allow you to have the dignity to make your own choice if you are in a healthy state. Based on my personal experience I've watched family and friends die both ways. The way I see it, all my life I've been controlled by the government and everyone else, therefore, I feel no one has a right to tell me how I should die. It's my choice, and I made that choice before I exit this world. We are all on borrowed time and we should be able to choose how we live and if possible, how we die, if it comes to a no hope cure.
