Some folks just can't or refuse to listen. They are lovable and really nice people who have a right to make choices even if it ultimately ends in death. Not only people with weight issues have life threatening problems.

The scams I receive starts with being attracted to me, describes their body size and shape (promising to send a photo), wanting a relationship and family, and want to meet me when visiting my country. They want to be with me or suggest living with me before spending time getting to know who I am. Some of the lines look like ideas taken from my profile. Some scammers are now looking at my profile before getting in touch.
He still likes you my dear but it's all about control. Many men like to control their women and will try anything to retain that control. Make sure you don't give your power away.
I noticed both men and women on here say they are looking for that "special" person but not many want to take a risk and meet over coffee. Some of the men say the women are reluctant to respond and the women say it's the character more than looks that's important. I really wonder how honest we are. It seems the men prefer women who are attractive to them but get uptight if rejected. I've rejected some women because they don't fit my image. I wonder how many other men have rejected women. Some people look different in person than they do in their photo. Some look more attractive while others look not so good. Connections will never happen unless we take a risk and talk over coffee. I've had a few coffee meetings and dates but not one was from internet dating. However,I do enjoy and like the folks on here. Maybe one day I will meet the right person somewhere in the realms of cyberspace. Are you willing to meet for coffee or wait for that magic moment you see in a picture?
Of course the world will end. The reality is every individual will face the end of the world in their own time and the younger generation will take over. In 5 billion years it will be the end of our solar system because our sun will become a super nova. Here's to our existence.

Maybe if you stop calling yourself mentally ill you'll feel better and find someone willing to talk and listen to you. Seriously, you are not half as bad as you think you are.
Got an email and photo from some scam claiming to be the woman in the image and wanted to come see me. I responded by saying I don't associate with young women. 2 days later I get another email from the same person saying she is moving to my town, 23 years old and want to be friends after arrival . Seems like someone is getting desperate. Anyone get the same message? Name spelled Mariya.
I've got some bad comments about my thread and some good comments about others. Sometimes being stupid is being human. I don't judge threads because I don't know the people who write them. We are all in the same boat.
I notice a large number of people who view my profile live a great distance from me. Is it because people feel safe at a distance knowing there is no threat for unwanted personal contact in general? What do you think?
Faith is having a belief in yourself knowing that you have the confidence and strength to deal with obstacles that pop up now and then in your life. I think the ancient Jews had it right about God. They believed that God is a force beyond human comprehension and it would be considered evil to use symbols or letters. Even to utter the pronunciation of letters would denigrate the spirit of thought (labels are a barrier to communication and real understanding). However, the feeling of an existing force of love and compassion for all living things commingled with the awesomeness of the heavens and creation of nature on earth may well be a representation of something we call God.
There are some people in an abusive relationship who think they love the abuser even though they dislike the person. Actually, it's not really love but a dependency problem.
