When last did someone else cook for you......?

Whahahahaa..... yes I agree wholeheartedly ... totally ridiculous innit? In a restaurant! Wow! Duck .... in a restaurant! Who in their right mind would eat duck in a restaurant? Nah, duck you eat in your kitchen, after cooking it for about 4 hours and then doing all the other cooking to turn it into that scrummy thing that Chefs do to duck. But eat it in a restaurant! Wow, how unusual!

I always had this fantasy of having an Arabian style decor ... you know .....big cushions on the floor for seating, everything in rich exotic colours, tasselled lamps, a hookah in the corner, draped fabric on the ceiling ...... incense burning .....everything low - and wood furniture all painted black. Well I getting there .... I got the Persian carpets now .... I just waiting for the building renovations .......

Ja ja, the Swissies are very good with Preventative Medicine! Now the school kids have to look the teacher in the eye and say "Grüetzi", and at home time the same procedure with "Adieu/Aufwiedersehn"..... The teacher stands with arms folded DO NOT TOUCH!

Right now, at this point in time, I am going away from CS! I have to go take a shower, put my comfortable big baggy stretchy clothes on, then pour another wee whisky, roll a looooong smoke, go stare at the sky awhile, drink, smoke ..... heat up my dinner ... maybe eat it, or maybe not, depending on how scintilating CS is .....I may be back, or I may not be back, all depends .......... Maybe I get all respectable and responsible and go to bed at a decent hour so I can get up in the morning ..... I`m supposed to be in charge of the house!.... while the parents are away ......enjoying themselves ......

I am alone at home with the small kids - and its just great! The parents have gone off for a short retreat into the Black Forest ...... and LEFT ME IN CHARGE OF THE HOUSE!

Funny how things run so smoothly without the parents here?! .. Everyone is in bed at the right time .....the cats are fed .....the kitchen is still clean .......we did some great shopping this afternoon and found everything we were looking for ........ and now I relaxing with a whisky and CS .....

And we even decorated the entrance with some cute newly purchased Autumn stuff, and a big "Wilkommen" sign!.. and a new pot plant...... ... Oh okay, so we spent most of the housekeeping money - but who cares?... That`s what parents are for .. to work and make money ....... ... I`m not a parent anymore - just a granny!

I don`t watch TV. Never. It bores me to tears.

Only if a particularly good movie is brought home, and HIGHLY recomended to watch will I grace the area in front of the set.

Oh, sometimes, if bored (bored?) I may watch a wild comedy if it makes me laugh. .... >or sometimes a documentary may catch my attention ... if its about animals.........

But I never believe anything serious I hear on TV - its all "La-la" land stuff ....... you can invent anything with a camera....

Minimalistic is my ideal ..... lots of space .... for the energy to flow!

To me - something has to have a FUNCTION - not be merely ornamental..... Like windchimes ... I bought 2 this week, for only .50 euro cents each! .... they do function .... my excuse was ... nah, I can`t say it ... you know what windchimes are for, hey? .... like my two little ceramic tortoises that cling by their claws to the side of the pot plant?
