In Latinamerica, there is a relatively new approach regarding to Sustainable Development from a "territorial" approach where the development of a whole community is placed above any individual/personal gain.
There are as many definitions of Sustainability as there are Ketchup recipes.
On a global scale, what we fail to see is the overpopulation of humans and in so millions are living under infra-human standards, should the human population be "reduced"?. On a local level, I do believe that strengthening the local economy is a good approach and above all "human development" must be the core for whatever definition "Sustainability" has, beyond economics.
Unfortunately, American people do not decide Foreign policies it is the gov and the elites who do and since wars are business, wars will continue to happen.
Are Americans responsible for the wars? No, mostly. Yes, to some extent because they do nothing to stop them.

so, for the ones that do not want/can make their own try Chobani and put it to a taste. it is supposed to be here but I have not seen it at my local stores yet but I will try it.
Europe has not trash now and hopefully they will make a better union and strengthen their trading so countries in the verge of economic-financial crisis might be able to correct their path. They can do it if they follow internal austerity economic policies. Not easy, but I do really hope they will.
