) and there are places where there were not signs (not internet reception either) so it would it have been very difficult to guess which road to take at times. I was traveling by bus and the bus driver knew the roads so not problem for him. In fact that bus was only for foreigners and everyone had to present their passport and their ticket in order to get in. They do not allow locals in those buses to avoid local criminals. In Perú, I did fly the most I could but for some routes it was not possible so the only way was by bus yet there were delays in the flights and a headache as well with Avianca but some people would say all the airlines have a rather terrible service.
