RE: God Bless Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, what an amazing woman at 91.

Well, family or the Crown?
Would you have done it differently?

Besides that, there must be some accomplishment of her.

RE: God Bless Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, what an amazing woman at 91.

Which are the more relevant accomplishments of Queen Elizabeth for UK and for the Commonwealth?

Besides, driving herself? which is admirable for her age.

Hi 2I

Thanks for the link.
I have enjoyed Auroras a few times in different places and the time of the year could be important for it.

Are you upset for what I have said about your beloved Hillary?
Worry not, she will never place any foot in jail, politicians cover each other because they all are the same.

I dislike her less than Trump (not their persona but their proceedings).

RE: WHY NOT FOOD PRICE CONTROLS....?...

facts

Worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980.
In 2014, more than 1.9 billion adults, 18 years and older, were overweight.
Of these over 600 million were obese.
39% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight in 2014, and 13% were obese.

Most of the world's population live in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight.

RE: The Ring of Fire (northern Ontario)

Ring of Fire Mining
"Tens of thousands of claims have been staked throughout the northern half of Ontario's Boreal Forest. Mines have an enormous impact on the natural environment, especially when you take into account the infrastructure needed to operate a mine such as roads and transmission corridors. Typically, a mine operates for only 15-20 years. But its impact on the environment can last for centuries, which is why many mines need to be monitored for decades or longer after they close...."

Here the majority of Mining Companies are Canadian.................., there in Canada the Chinese might take part on that 600 billion mining project.......who ever does it just they, the miners should take the measures to impact the environment the least possible, particularly care for the wild life and the workers of the mines.

So far no boys (from that particular NZ elementary school) have chosen to wear skirts and if they did it would be like the image below, a bit different of your picture.

RE: The Ring of Fire (northern Ontario)

I do not know about Canada but here the owner of the land does not have the right to use the sub-soil unless they have done some "petitions" (denuncios) and they are granted by the government.

Example: some farmers own some land but some miners (Mexican, Canadian..) do the "denuncios" and ask for the authorization to extract the sub-soil minerals and + (or which ever they want) then the government will grant the authorization.

What the owners of the land (farmers) can do is to negotiate the access to those lands and the government usually will ask the companies to hire locals the most possible and sometimes the miners will support some local infrastructure in exchange for them having access to the sub-soil and getting all those minerals and metals and....Miners are always ahead of the owners of the land and they might have bought some land (to be able to access the sub-soil) before the negotiations in case things do not turn right for them.

Also, there is a law for the miners to keep the place the most possible as it was and making sure there is not lixiviation of contaminants to the aquifers.

Recently some states have passed an ecological law for the miners (foreigners and domestic) to pay a tax which was not easy and hopefully it will be instituted in all states.

(and that does not look like an uniform, which school's uniform is that? are you getting your news pictures from biased sources laugh)

btw my name has not gender distinction: life is a dream is for all.

I wonder how many of the males that oppose the freedom of choice about wearing which ever uniform for the boys-girls, do dress with female's attire when no one sees them. hmmm

Who holds the "permits" for the extraction of the minerals?

I guess they are the ones to set the tone of the negotiations.

They are jello made with the natural juice of the oranges and the grapefruit and then the (washed first) fruit's skins filled with it and once they are set, cut in wedges. I do the same with other fruits like honey dew, cantaloupe, etc..

Strawberries look tasty

RE: The Ring of Fire (northern Ontario)

I read it is needed 1.5 billion for the railroad. Is there a way of having Canadian funding for the railroad?
either through the Gov or an independent Mine Corporation fund?

There are huge Canadian mining companies, could they make the investments for the railroad as well?

What are the Chinese after, besides free access to minerals?

RE: 5 year plan!

5 yr is rather long I prefer to plan for a year or less.

This year I am working less (50 %) to have time to enjoy family and friends, to cook the food I like, to read, to relax, to exercise and I might go back to school and complete some unfinished business.
