Lucky Lucky woman...I get no help from my inlaws because they too are European and don't understand the defiant nature of today's young people...and I am West Indian so my parents are just as lost...all they can repeat is....you guys didn't give us that type of trouble...no we didn't...parental punishment was outlawed!!
And that's another thing...men don't want to admit they have a problem...they just want to keep piling it on our plate...somehow we are at fault because we are "women"....and you know how women are
Did i mention i also have a 9 year old who she torments until i think that child is going to lose her mind!!...yet if there is another nine year old in the vicinity...well oh my goodness aren't they just the cutest...and "Oh mom...can i get my babysitting cert so i can babysit them"....huh??? What about your sister??!!! You know the one I MADE!!!
I am at my wits end with my 12 year old daughter....somedays she is so mature...some days so childlike...but i'm not allowed to know which one i will be getting for the day until she wakes up....
I do know one thing...no matter what myself or her father does...it is WRONG!!! I have tried so hard to be understanding of her crossing over into becoming a young woman, encouraged her to make responsible choices and decisions...but lo and behold if i put my foot down and remind her at 12 there are some subjects just not up for discussion...let me just say "no" one time out of TEN and it is attitude with a capital "A" for the rest of the day!!
With all the threads we've had of late regarding abusive relationships...and the downfall of relationships...plus the input of the men on a subject very "close to the heart" to women...
Why is it if you are bitten by a dog and become wary and distrustful of them after that...it's understood... Yet if you have been mistreated by a man/men and become distrustful and wary of them...women have "issues" and "baggage" etc etc
Has anyone even noticed that no matter how many times a woman has been beaten down, she gets up and opens her arms and heart to the next man she loves?...because we still believe in love, still believe in fairy tale endings...even when life is throwing it in our face NO SUCH THING EXISTS...
But here we are, still trying again to find that right person....can the men on here just ease up a bit and cut us some slack...
Fine then....I could not have chosen a better father for my kids...too bad he can't multitask though...he could only be a father or a husband not both at the same time....
the picture that is currently my primary took 3 days to actually be approved and shown...but when i alternated between my others for primary it was done immediately...there is no rhyme or reason..it just is...
