The artisan

Embedded image from another site

If I were an artisan
I would construct you
a window to my soul
tinted sky blue..

So when you gazed in
you would see
a reflection of love
a reflection of you and me...

A beautiful soul
dawn grey and blue
no longer a lost soul
I have you...

Autumn leaves are falling

Embedded image from another site

Autumn leaves coming down in showers
yellow, orange, brown and red
blanketing the little flowers
tucking them into bed...

Autumn is calling
leaves falling from above
falling like
they're falling in love
with the ground...

Every leaf a flower
autumn is nature's gallery
saving up
for the grand finale!

Sin Eater

Embedded image from another site

How does it feel?
when I kneel
we make love
and confess all our sins...

Anoited in our sins
embodiment of our sins
rare gold in color
we always want more...

We sin of lust
swirl in amber
my tongue
licking your flesh...

Midnight wrath
we kiss
we coil
in a fit of redden anger...

Lady of the silver moon

Embedded image from another site

Beloved lady of the silver moon
cast your runes
enchantress of the night
bring forth the stars
that are your body...

Bring the rain of your kisses
the air of your breath
the fire of your spirit
cast your circle...

Bathe with me in the sea
I'll garnish your neck with rosebuds
my palms open to your painted nails
lay your nakedness against mine
absorb my energy...

Press your nakedness to mine
you belong to me...

Loss

Embedded image from another site

At the service
relatives not seen
for such a long time
begin to appear in succession...

A mixture of joy and pain
pain for the loss
of a loved one
joy for uniting with kin...

Tears shed
for the beloved
are not a sign of weakness
but a sign of heart...

I know you cannot
read loss
only feel it
eventually, everything goes away...

Cloud Castle

Embedded image from another site

In her final moments
her silent face lies before me
mother's eyes so serene
like a lake undisturbed
by turbulent winds
perhaps inside she was smiling
perhaps not
perhaps lost in a world
of dreamy thoughts..

Her eyes cast a final gaze
as she faded into the kingdom
of brilliant white light
time seemed to have slowed
as she drifted away
surrounded by sobbing...

I had always known
the final moments
would be painful for me
but to my great surprise
it was peaceful for mother
as my tears flow wide
it was where I was
by my mother's side
as she joined
God's cloud castle in the sky...

Calm

Embedded image from another site

Golden calm
flows through me
as a glittered dragonfly's frame
and fairy wings buzz over pooled dew...

Then she called
saying she was tired
of the calm between us
she wanted to summon the storm...

I told her
you are the sky
everything else
is just the weather...

When we love
we are
the storm
before the calm...

And she...
Calms my frenzied turbulence
with just a stroke of her lips
leaving me breathless
my winds settle at last!

The Kingdom of Heaven

Embedded image from another site

Mother, as I last view your
pale and fragile frame
I envisioned the chariot
that will carry you to heaven...

It will be of silver and gold
steadily rumbling through a tunnel
at first dark with the end in sight
an unwavering beckoning beacon of light...

Soon you will be standing on a hill
with a new body
below you fertile land light and airy
beautiful colored clouds behold your palace!

A mansion with many rooms
towers high and proud
as it laps the sea
each wave blue as can be!

When you enter your palace mother
you're in a place free of sin
say hello to all our loved ones
as you enter the Kingdom of Heaven..

Electric

Embedded image from another site

Touch
kiss me
together
we are electric.

Organized lightning
when we meet
the night crackles
sparks fly from her hair.

When she is gone
I dream her
my means of electricity
nerves vibrate thousands of miles.

In a breathless point of time
there is
enough electricity in her
to jump start New York City.

Her fingers are filaments
that caressing love in a current
an evolution of light
beautiful prism.

Her love
is like lightning
beautiful from a distance
I cannot wait to be struck by it.

Shock me into submission
make my hair stand on end
flip my switch
smash my bulb.

Poetry Everywhere

Embedded image from another site

Can you hear the wind?
the sound of poetry
everywhere a story
your life and mine.

Basket man in parking lot
holding a sign and his story
it says of him
a story he wishes to tell.

Wind on the beach
carrying wishes and prayers
if you just stop
and listen.

All around us is poetry
a story
waiting to be told
of desires and dreams.

Bride of thanatos

Embedded image from another site

A toast my darling
to a brand new world
of gods and monsters,
shall it be gin?

I am reanimated tonight
sometimes I feel
like a monster
I belong among the dead.

I want a lover
someone like me
together we can delve
into the mysteries of the afterlife.

You woman
can be a friend
a lover
a bride...

War Torn

Embedded image from another site

Gunfire awakens
the sleeping children
in smoke filled shadows
of a war torn room...

Eyes filled with tears
looking toward heaven
praying just to see
the sun rise one more day...

With trembling hands
reaching for the father
who once held them
sheltered them from harm...

Pleading please Christ Lord
bring peace our way
help me survive
for just another day...
